Our patented 2-Piece Rug System has a removable top layer that can be washed in a home washing machine, offering a stylish and convenient solution for families, pet owners, and busy individuals. We are a small, entrepreneurial team with big ambitions. We have a strong brand, established traction, and a great team fueling our growth.
We are seeking a resourceful, empathetic, and analytical individual to drive insights for several new product categories. This individual will work alongside Product Design, Product Development, and Sourcing by applying methods of research and analytics to synthesize the voice of the customer to inform critical decisions at every phase of product development. The Product Insights Associate will be a critical member of the New Product team, owning the research process from planning methodologies to building senior-level materials that guide recommendations across a suite of innovative new product categories.
What You'll Do:
- Insight Development and Delivery: Execute end-to-end research including planning, collecting data, analyzing results, developing recommendations, and presenting recommendations to the team
- Stakeholder Management: Work cross-functionally with teams to understand priorities, key questions, and other needs, to define and execute the research roadmap
- Product Testing Group Program: Own, maintain, and grow the New Product feedback program, working with customers to understand their needs and uncover unparalleled insights in order to create innovative home goods products
- Ad-Hoc Projects: to pick up and own product development projects outside of research (testing, product strategy, etc.) as needed
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in research, consumer insights, and/or consulting; will consider candidates of different backgrounds
- Experience managing large datasets and building story-driven presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication with impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills
- Polished demeanor and high EQ, with the ability and interest to facilitate not only large group discussions, but also many 1:1 interviews with customers
Preferred:
- Experience with R, SQL, or SPSS
- Experience leading qualitative consumer research including workshops and focus groups
- Experience with CPG/Retail, especially with furniture, textiles, home goods
- Experience working with research platforms (i.e., Qualtrics, Pollfish, SurveyGizmo)
