Product Designer
FabFitFun, one of the fastest growing companies in Los Angeles is seeking a Product Designer to work in our Box pod. This Product Designer will be responsible for designing fun, intuitive, accessible, and compelling experiences of all kinds, from conversion orientated, to fun and engaging features that draw users in and create a magical and memorable experience. This Product Designer will also have the opportunity to work on a broad range of topics and contribute to overall digital product design strategy with well-rounded user interaction, design, and general problem solving abilities.

What You’ll Do:
- Ideate, wireframe, define and document user flows, design, prototype experiences for our core membership features.
- Perform design reviews and audits on features slated for release, ensuring fidelity and intended functionality.
- Apply and ensure compliance w/ FabFitFun design system.
- Apply conceptual thinking and creativity to complex design problems that result in simple and intuitive product experiences
- Translate data and results from user testing to learn everything there is to know about the customer, and how to create user experiences best suited for them
- Facilitating design handoff for developers.
- Documenting design artifacts and core experiences for internal consumption.
- Partner with members of Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders through the holistic design process of research, wireframing, comp design, and execution
- Demonstrate innovative approaches to create beautiful, usable, high-fidelity designs
- Constantly seek feedback on your designs, and provide actionable feedback to others
- Collaborate with the entire FabFitFun team to ensure a consistently compelling experience for our customers.
- Review, critique, and present work for critique within the UX team.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of experience designing interfaces for web and mobile web.
- Must have working knowledge of front-end development languages HTML / CSS
- Skills and understanding of UX, UI, usability and interaction design
- UI Design
- Prototyping
- Wireframing
- Userflowing
- Skills and understanding of Visual Design and effective visual communication
- Typography
- Color Theory
- Hierarchy
- Layout
- Skills in communication, ability to articulate design decisions, collect feedback, and collaborate with others.
- Solid foundational understanding of responsive web design and how to design for it.
- Must provide portfolio demonstrating strong UI / Visual design experience
- Proficiency in design tools, specifically Sketch, Zeplin, InVision or Marvel.
- Nice to have experience in tools: Principle, Lottie, After Effects, Figma
- BA degree or higher in Interactive Design, Product Design, User Centric Design, HCI, Cognitive Psychology, or related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience with design pattern libraries / design systems
- Experience designing for A/B testing experiments
- Experience with qualitative User Research (User Interviews, user testing, usability testing, needfinding).
- Experience working with data to understand user behaviors
- Javascript experience is a huge plus
