As Product Analytics Manager at Tradesy, you’ll take the lead on using data to deeply understand customer behavior, and partner with product to extract insights from the data and find opportunities for optimization and improvement.

You’ll be our resident expert on event event tracking and behavioral analytics, and will use your skills and experience to develop robust dashboards and reporting that provide insights into how customers are using our products and where we have opportunities for improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with product and design to provide insights that drive product decisions, and with engineering to implement robust event tracking across our applications.

This is a new role, and is a great opportunity to build a function from the ground up within a growing company. We have a Business Intelligence team that focuses on providing data insights to the company at large, but this role will sit within product, with a laser focus on understanding user behavior within our product and guiding product decisions that impact millions of every month. This role reports directly to our CPO and Cofounder.

You Will:

• Own our event tracking implementations. Ensure that we have robust event tracking across applications, work with product managers to create event tracking requirements for new features, and work with engineering to implement them.
• Own our analytics tooling. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key product metrics, provide insights into the customer journey, and measure the performance of features.
• Provide regular reports on changes in key metrics, along with insights into what may be causing them to move.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to investigate specific business questions & support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to design robust A/B tests, and instrument features to facilitate tracking. Collaborate with Business Intelligence to analyze results and monitor tests in progress.
• Collaborate with the data team to evangelize the use of data across the organization, and develop self-serve solutions that allow non-technical team members to easily access and consume data.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science
• Management experience
• Strong analytical skills. Able to write queries, conduct exploratory analysis, and develop clear reports.
• Experience gathering requirements, writing specs, managing timelines, and delivering against plans.
• Deep knowledge of behavioral analytics including tools, methodologies, and technologies.
• Data visualization skills. Skilled at presenting information visually in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong communication skills including writing, speaking, and presenting.
