Job Description:

The Field Service Production Support Engineer (PSE) will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all daily customer field service-related activities.  The successful candidate will have experience in both software and hardware. 

Responsibilities include:

PSE Field service activities will include:

  • Engineering apps/testing support activities
  • Assist with customer NPI data collection
  • System license management
  • Re-image of workstations
  • Lead customer improvement projects
  • Collection and presentation service data
  • Site preparation consultation
  • On-site installation
  • Repair down systems
  • Customer training on maintenance procedures
  • Work with factory to drive diagnostics improvements
Preferred Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in a related field required
  • Fluent in English
  • Customer management experience
  • Practical experience - supporting ATE equipment, Advantest 93K experience an advantage

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds without assistance and be able to bend into machinery without restrictions.
  • Push or pull up to 200 lbs. of test equipment and tools using qualified cart or pallet jack.
  • Transport parts or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. (assistance available when lifting item(s) over 50 lbs.).
  • System repair/servicing requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting and occasionally working in unusual positions using full body mobility.
