We’re looking to hire a talented Product Sales Manager, Specialty Alloys based in North America.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Product Sales Manager, Specialty Alloys is responsible for managing the sales activities of ESAB’s specialty alloys sold under the Stoody, Exaton, AlcoTec and ESAB brands within the assigned territory. The PSM is accountable for maximizing sales growth by working independently with end-users and through focused support of distributor outside sales personnel. The PSM is expected to be the subject matter expert on these brands and product applications within the region.
Primary Duties
- Achieve sales quota for designated territory.
- Provide field support to Distributors on new and existing processes, product application, and demonstrations.
- Provide end-users with product and new process applications by demonstrating and professionally delivering a complete package.
- Improve relationships and sales within the ESAB Welding and Cutting distribution channel.
- Fully communicate sales and marketing activities.
- Project a positive, professional image as a company representative.
- Work within a team structure.

Qualifications
- B.S. degree in technical discipline or business administration preferred.
- 3+ years’ proven industrial sales experience, with welding or related sales experience preferred, strong preference towards hard-facing and similar alloys.
- Solid knowledge of welding consumables and hard facing.
- Capable of demonstrating welding skills in all process applications.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Basic proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
Working Conditions
- Remains in a stationary position 50% of the time and involves additional physical demands such as ascending/descending stairs, walking stooping and standing.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment ‘PPE’ when working/visiting manufacturing and plant locations.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery including but not limited to printer, tablets, cell phones.
- Moves transports, puts, or removes equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.; pushes, pulls products weighing up to 200 lbs. using provided safety tools.
- May be exposed to varying weather during travel.
- Domestic travel required approximately 80%.
Pay Range:
