Job Summary:

The Product Quality Analyst II is responsible for testing web applications, Web APIs, and Batch applications. This role involves creating and executing test cases, documenting defects, monitoring bug tracking systems, and utilizing quality assurance methodologies. The analyst will collaborate with software engineers and business analysts, exhibiting strong problem-solving skills and creativity to enhance client satisfaction.

The Gig:

  • Create test cases to support business requirements of Web Applications, Web APIs and Batch Applications of all complexity levels. Execute manual and automated test cases.

  • Thoroughly document defects.

  • Experience collaborating with software engineers, business analysts, and business stake holders. Entering test cases in test case management system to include comprehensive description of tests.

  • Documenting test results in test case management system.

  • Find needles in hay stacks. Monitoring the defect tracking systems including managing bug tracking.

  • Well versed with quality assurance methodologies and the SDLC.

  • Ability to ask probing questions and put forethought into potential solution impacts.

  • Creative thinking and proposing solutions to grow our business by delighting our clients.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Comply with all policies and standards.

What you need to make the cut: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 4 years of experience in Manual or Automated Testing.

  • Proven ability to break software and to frustrate software engineers.

  • Previous exposure to user interface development, billing/payroll modules, or import/export data files helpful.

  • Highly motivated, Innovative, self-directed thinker with an eagerness to stay up-to-date with current trends and a desire to impress.

  • Knowledge of Gherkin test format, etc.


The pay range for this position is 65K to 99K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data). 

This role is eligible to participate in the quarterly bonus incentive plan.
