Job Description

KIOXIA America Inc. is seeking a motivated Product Planner to join our Memory Business Unit Operations team. In this critical role, you will manage memory product planning and work closely with Sales and Business Unit teams to ensure the seamless delivery of products from our factories to customers. As the primary point of contact for assigned products, you will play a key role in driving product availability, optimizing inventory, and maintaining smooth communication across global teams, including our Japan-based colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of product backlog, ensuring inventory is allocated to purchase orders to guarantee timely customer shipments.
  • Monitor factory ship guides and expedite shipments as necessary to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Unit teams to provide proactive updates on product shipment status and address any delivery issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date communication on delivery timelines and inventory status, providing monthly reports on potential delays or challenges.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring proper classification and availability.
  • Oversee the Item Master to ensure product catalog attributes are accurate and aligned with business needs.
  • Update inventory purchase prices as needed to maintain competitive pricing and meet business objectives.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Prior experience in product planning preferred, especially within the memory/semiconductor industry, is highly beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong analytical skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Experience with Oracle applications for order management is a plus.
  • Onsite Tuesday through Thursday required.

The expected salary for this position is $82,770.00 - 136,780.00.
