Galaxia Technologies Inc. is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Product Owner to provide strategic leadership and expert guidance in product ownership, ensuring the successful delivery of mission-critical solutions. As an SME, you will serve as a key advisor to stakeholders, oversee the implementation of product strategies, and define best practices for managing complex product portfolios. This role demands extensive experience in Agile product management, exceptional communication skills, and a track record of delivering impactful products in high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary advisor for product ownership best practices, methodologies, and strategies.
- Define and communicate product vision, goals, and roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and user needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, prioritize tasks, and translate them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Oversee the management of product backlogs across multiple teams, ensuring clear priorities and alignment with business goals.
- Provide mentorship and training to product owners, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and workflows, ensuring effective sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Act as a liaison between leadership, stakeholders, and development teams to facilitate clear communication and alignment.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, proposing enhancements and innovations to optimize user experience and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and client engagements as a thought leader in product management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, and 15+ years of experience in product ownership or product management; or Master’s Degree and 13+ years of experience.
- Extensive experience leading Agile product management initiatives for large-scale, mission-critical solutions.
- Expert in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and product lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to manage complex product portfolios and prioritize tasks based on business value.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams.
- Highly proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other product management platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a CI polygraph.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent.
- Experience in DevSecOps environments and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and practices.
- Expertise in government or defense-related product management environments.
- Recognized thought leadership in product ownership through publications, speaking engagements, or professional contributions.
