We are seeking a Product Data Contractor to support our innovation pipeline, customer compliance areas and product integrity areas.  This tactical role focuses on executing new item set up, updating packaging dimensions, and processing data corrections within JD Edwards (JDE)—specifically post-setup and prior to first item receipt—while ensuring strict adherence to SOX compliance and internal financial controls. This individual will immediately resolve data errors to ensure products are ordered, configured accurately in retailer systems, and received without friction.  Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne is highly preferred.

What you’ll do

• Data Management:  Standardize and maintain master data domains (customer, vendor, item and finance) across enterprise platforms, with a primary focus on accurately updating packaging dimensions, weights and logistics data.
• Data Enrichment:  Identify, resolve, and prevent data errors to ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of product data
• New Item Setup & Innovation:  Support the immediate, operational needs of the New Item Setup lifecycle (post set up and prior to first item receipt), including IT ticket completion
• System Support:  Assist with data extraction, mapping, and entry, leveraging JDE modules or alternative ERP applications
• Collaboration:  Partner with cross-functional departments to establish unified data definitions and workflows
• Process Documentation & SOPs:  Document the current master data workflows and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to capture existing knowledge and establish a foundation for future process improvements
• SOX Compliance:  Maintain audit trails, enforce segregation of duties and ensure all master data changes comply with SOX controls

What you’ll need:

• 3+ years’ experience in data management or data governance roles
• Deep ERP expertise is required.  Experience with JD Edwards is highly preferred
• Technical skills for data validation prior to system entry
• Strong documentation skills and a proven ability to clearly document processes and write technical SOPs for business or IT audiences
• Ability to collaborate across all functions and levels of the organization
• Experience in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment 

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $39.00 - $48.07 per hour. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
