Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Product Marketing Specialist to support the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for our Campus ID and Commerce solutions serving higher education institutions. This junior-level role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, student experience, and the evolving needs of colleges and universities. You will collaborate closely with product, sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams to ensure our products are clearly communicated, effectively launched, and well-supported across the market.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Customer Insights

  • Conduct research on higher education trends, student experience needs, and campus operations to inform product strategy and messaging.
  • Monitor competitive offerings in campus ID, access, credentialing, and commerce solutions.
  • Gather feedback from customers, sales, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and pain points.

Positioning & Messaging

  • Help develop clear, compelling product messaging that communicates the value of our SaaS-based Campus ID and Commerce solutions.
  • Translate technical concepts and platform capabilities into simple, user-friendly language for campus leaders and administrators.
  • Ensure consistency across website content, collateral, presentations, and communications.

Go-to-Market Support

  • Assist in planning and executing product releases, updates, and feature announcements.
  • Support the creation of launch materials including one-pagers, sales decks, FAQs, use case guides, and customer-facing updates.
  • Collaborate with demand-generation, content, and creative teams to ensure successful rollout of campaigns.

Content Creation

  • Draft and edit product content such as web pages, blog posts, solution briefs, email campaigns, and customer stories.
  • Work with designers and digital teams to develop visual assets and product-oriented storytelling.
  • Help maintain an updated library of product collateral aligned with the Campus ID and Commerce suite.

Sales Enablement

  • Partner with sales to understand needs and develop tools that support conversations with higher ed institutions.
  • Provide updates and documentation that help sales teams stay informed about roadmap changes and new releases.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor engagement with marketing content and sales resources to identify what resonates with higher ed audiences.
  • Support analysis of product marketing efforts and make data-informed recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a similar role (internships included).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Interest in higher education technology, SaaS platforms, and/or student experience solutions.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (CRM, CMS, analytics) is a plus but not required.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
