At Sovos, we're dedicated to more than just solving compliance challenges -- we're committed to making a positive and lasting difference in everything we do. Our teams operate on the modern edge of digital technology, working not only to solve complex business challenges but also to enrich our personal, professional, and local communities.

Our purpose-built systems provide the tools you need to thrive in a world where governments demand increased visibility, faster reporting and greater control over business processes. Excited about the possibilities? So are we!

Don't worry if you don't check all the boxes -- apply anyway! We're focused on hiring the right people, not just the "right" resume. It's not about what you've done elsewhere; it's all about what you're capable of doing here.

The Work You'll Do:

As a Product Marketing Manager at Sovos, you will drive product-led growth, go-to-market strategy, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across a portfolio of B2B SaaS solutions. You will serve as the bridge between Product, UX, Sales, Digital Marketing, and Leadership teams, translating complex product capabilities into compelling customer value propositions and scalable growth initiatives.

This role combines strategic product marketing with hands-on execution. You will own positioning, messaging, product launches, content strategy, customer education, competitive intelligence, and conversion optimization across both self-service and sales-led customer journeys. You will leverage customer insights, market trends, and performance data to improve acquisition, adoption, retention, and revenue outcomes.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end GTM planning and execution for product launches, feature releases, pricing changes, and strategic initiatives
  • Develop positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions across multiple B2B SaaS product lines
  • Serve as a cross-functional bridge across Product, Sales, Digital Marketing, UX, Customer Success, and Leadership to align GTM priorities
  • Own sales enablement, including training decks, FAQs, competitive comparisons, and collateral, to equip sellers and accelerate revenue
  • Create customer-facing content including blog posts, white papers, email campaigns, webinars, and landing pages tied to launches and market moments
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to surface differentiation opportunities, emerging threats, and shifts in buyer behavior
  • Partner with Digital Marketing and UX on SEO, paid search, website optimization, and conversion rate improvement across self-service and sales-assisted journeys
  • Measure and report on acquisition, conversion, adoption, retention, and revenue; use data to refine strategy and improve outcomes
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate content development, competitive research, and performance analysis

What We Need From You

  • 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within B2B SaaS
  • Experience working in or alongside a product-led growth motion is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex product capabilities into clear, compelling customer-facing messaging
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of working across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis to inform strategy and measure performance
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Reprise, and WordPress preferred
  • Minimal travel required (less than 25%), both domestic and international, to Sovos locations and events
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
