The Product Marketing Manager will lead go-to-market strategies for an AI product, manage launches, create marketing content, and drive community growth initiatives.
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market execution for a newly repositioned SMB-focused AI product. The product is already live in the ChatGPT App Store and is undergoing a rebrand to better serve small and medium-sized businesses.
This role will be instrumental in shaping product narratives, driving launch execution (including Product Hunt), and building a strong market presence within the US SMB ecosystem.
Employment Type: Full-time (Initial 3-month contract: April–June 2026, with potential for extension or conversion)
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
Go-to-Market & Launch
- Lead the upcoming Product Hunt launch (target: early May 2026).
- Develop positioning and messaging tailored to SMB audiences.
- Execute launch campaigns in collaboration with external agencies.
Content & Product Storytelling
- Conceptualize and produce demo videos and use-case videos.
- Build a strong library of product marketing assets.
- Create clear and engaging product documentation and user guides.
User & Market Insights
- Conduct user interviews and gather actionable feedback.
- Translate insights into product messaging and feature prioritization.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the central project manager across:
- KOL / influencer agencies
- Product Hunt launch partners
- Brand/creative agencies
- Work closely with Product Managers to align on roadmap and messaging.
Community & Growth
- Represent the brand at SF-based meetups, events, and hackathons.
- Build relationships within the startup and SMB ecosystem.
- Support community-driven growth initiatives.
- 3–7+ years of experience in Product Marketing, ideally in SaaS or AI products.
- Strong understanding of SMB audiences and go-to-market strategies.
- Proven experience launching products on platforms like Product Hunt.
- Ability to create or oversee high-quality marketing content (video, docs, campaigns).
- Experience conducting user research and interviews.
- Strong project management skills with multiple stakeholders/agencies.
- Preferably fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
