General Summary:  

This position is responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies that clearly communicate the value of Data Axle’s products and solutions to the market. The Product Marketing Manager translates complex technical capabilities into differentiated positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans that enable Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to drive adoption and revenue growth.

This role partners closely with Product Management, Revenue Enablement, and Sales leadership to support product launches, sales effectiveness, competitive positioning, and ongoing release marketing. The position combines strong product fluency, market insight, and hands-on execution to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across the customer lifecycle.


Essential Job Functions: *

  1. Develop and maintain clear, differentiated product positioning and messaging aligned to target buyers and market opportunities
  2. Translate technical product capabilities into customer-focused value propositions tied to measurable business outcomes
  3. Create and manage messaging frameworks, personas, use cases, and core product narratives
  4. Partner with Revenue Enablement and Sales to develop practical sales tools including pitch decks, talk tracks, objection handling guides, and proof points
  5. Support Sales teams by improving message adoption, deal effectiveness, and competitive differentiation
  6. Gather and incorporate field feedback to refine messaging and go-to-market strategies
  7. Plan and support cross-functional product launches from strategy through adoption and measurement
  8. Align Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success around launch goals, timelines, and success metrics
  9. Monitor competitive landscape, buyer needs, and market trends and translate insights into actionable guidance
  10. Develop competitive intelligence and positioning to clarify strengths and areas of differentiation
  11. Partner closely with Product Management to understand roadmap priorities and market requirements
  12. Support release marketing by translating ongoing enhancements into customer-facing value and internal enablement content
  13. Ensure consistent communication of releases and updates across go-to-market channels
  14. Track performance metrics and recommend optimizations to improve adoption and revenue impact

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  1. Strong knowledge of product marketing principles including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
  2. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value
  3. Experience developing sales enablement materials and supporting revenue teams
  4. Strong understanding of B2B SaaS, data, analytics, or enterprise technology markets
  5. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  6. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  7. Ability to operate independently and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  8. Analytical mindset with the ability to use market and performance data to inform decisions
  9. Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced environments

Education, Experience, and Certification: * 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
  2. Approximately 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS, data, analytics, or enterprise technology environments
  3. Proven experience partnering with Sales and Product teams to drive go-to-market impact
  4. Experience leading or supporting product launches preferred
  5. Experience with enterprise or complex sales motions preferred
