The Product Marketing Manager will lead marketing strategies for a SaaS HCM startup, focusing on brand management, digital marketing, lead generation, content creation, event planning, analytics, and team leadership.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts as we launch our SaaS HCM startup, Helios. This role will be pivotal in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and growth in the competitive HR tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned with the company’s business objectives and target markets.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning.
- Define and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Brand Management and Positioning:
- Establish and maintain a strong brand presence in the HR tech and global payments/payroll sectors.
- Develop and execute branding initiatives that differentiate our products and services in the market.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and identity across all marketing channels and materials.
- Digital Marketing and Lead Generation:
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Drive lead generation efforts to acquire new customers and nurture existing leads through targeted campaigns.
- Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to track, measure, and optimize campaign performance.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Develop and manage a content calendar to support marketing initiatives, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and videos.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality content that resonates with our audience.
- Ensure content is aligned with SEO best practices and drives engagement and conversions.
- Event Planning and Management:
- Plan, organize, and execute industry events, webinars, and conferences to promote our brand and products.
- Develop event marketing strategies to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Coordinate with sales and product teams to ensure seamless execution and follow-up.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Use data-driven approaches to refine strategies and optimize marketing efforts.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, product, customer support) to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support marketing activities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B SaaS or HR tech industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to drive marketing decisions.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of global payments and payroll solutions is a plus.
