Who You Are

The Justworks Product Marketing team bridges the gap between the market, our customers, and our product offerings, ensuring clarity, alignment, and impact across the organization. Our mission is to define, articulate, and differentiate Justworks’ value proposition to the right audiences, positioning our products for growth, adoption, and long-term success.

As a Product Marketing Manager on the Audience Team, you will shape how Justworks defines and reaches its customers, ensuring our value proposition resonates and drives business growth. You’ll be responsible for developing and refining Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), messaging, and positioning to fuel acquisition, retention, and expansion. By leveraging deep customer and market insights, you will craft compelling narratives and develop sales enablement resources that enhance Sales, Growth, and Partner team effectiveness.

This position requires a strategic thinker and storyteller who excels at synthesizing market and customer insights into impactful positioning and go-to-market strategies. If you are passionate about customer segmentation, data-driven messaging, and cross-functional collaboration, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact.

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On

  • Define and optimize ICPs, audience segmentation, and buyer personas to sharpen Justworks’ go-to-market strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Develop research-backed messaging and positioning frameworks that differentiate Justworks and drive customer engagement across key channels.
  • Conduct market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to continuously refine our value propositions and improve market positioning.
  • Craft compelling value propositions that clearly communicate how Justworks solves customer challenges.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement materials, including messaging guides, playbooks, and competitive positioning frameworks, to equip GTM teams.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across Sales, Marketing, and Partner channels to maximize clarity and impact.
  • Support integrated campaigns and product launches by providing audience insights and strategic messaging guidance.
  • Measure and track audience engagement, win rates, and conversion metrics, using data to refine messaging and positioning.
  • Test, iterate, and optimize messaging, positioning, and ICP definitions based on market feedback, competitive insights, and campaign performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in B2B Product Marketing, preferably in SaaS, HR tech, or fintech.
  • Experience developing messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials that drive impact.
  • Strong ability to synthesize market, competitive, and customer insights into clear takeaways and recommendations.
  • Expertise in audience segmentation, ICP development, and buyer persona creation to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives across different marketing and sales channels.
  • Proven track record of partnering with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to improve go-to-market effectiveness.
  • Comfortable with data analysis to inform messaging, positioning, and audience strategies (SQL/Tableau is a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $127,000 to $142,500 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
