Do work that matters.

At AlertMedia, everything we do supports our mission: To save lives and minimize loss by identifying active threats globally and facilitating timely communications when an emergency threatens personal safety and business continuity.

Our core values drive us in our important mission of keeping people safe & informed:

  • We’re humans, not robots
  • Customers always come first
  • We work better together
  • Simplicity is our strength
  • Our reputation is priceless
  • Hard work pays off

As one of the fastest-growing software companies in the United States, we’re focused on building the best team to continue accelerating our growth and meeting increasing demand.

AlertMedia is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market strategy, competitive differentiation, and revenue growth across our product portfolio. This is a high-impact role focused on strengthening the commercial performance of established products, identifying growth opportunities, and turning customer and market insights into effective go-to-market strategies.

You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, and Content teams to sharpen positioning, improve sales effectiveness, and drive product adoption and revenue growth. You will own initiatives from strategy through execution, bringing analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and a strong sense of accountability to your work.

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a bias for action, takes initiative, challenges assumptions, and uses data and emerging technologies, including AI, to deliver meaningful business results.

Who You Are:

You are an analytical, commercially minded product marketer who knows how to connect customer needs, product capabilities, and market opportunities to business growth. You don't just create messaging and launch materials. You understand what drives customers to buy, what helps sales teams win, and how to translate those insights into strategies that improve performance.

You are a proactive problem solver who takes ownership and gets things done. You bring structure to complex projects, ask thoughtful questions, and know how to move initiatives forward across multiple teams. You're comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and take pride in delivering measurable results.

You're naturally curious, resourceful, and eager to experiment with new approaches. You actively explore how AI and emerging technologies can make your work smarter, faster, and more effective. You challenge conventional ways of working and continuously look for opportunities to improve.

Above all, you're a collaborative partner and clear communicator who builds credibility through strong relationships, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through. You take accountability for outcomes, not just deliverables, and contribute to the success of the broader team.

What You Get to Do Every Day:

Product Positioning & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for assigned products, translating capabilities into compelling customer value and competitive differentiation.
  • Evaluate market opportunities, buyer needs, product performance, and commercial data to identify growth opportunities and develop focused GTM plans.
  • Partner with Product to inform roadmap priorities, support product launches, and ensure new capabilities are positioned for successful market adoption.

Revenue Growth & Sales Effectiveness

  • Analyze pipeline performance, conversion rates, win/loss trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities to improve revenue performance.
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue Enablement to develop compelling sales narratives, competitive strategies, enablement tools, and programs that improve sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and Content teams to develop targeted campaigns and programs that support acquisition, expansion, and revenue goals.

Customer, Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Develop deep expertise in customer needs, buying behaviors, use cases, and competitive dynamics to inform positioning and go-to-market decisions.
  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, and customer-facing teams to uncover insights, validate value propositions, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Translate customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends into actionable recommendations for Product, Sales, and Marketing.

Cross-Functional Execution & Business Impact

  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market initiatives, aligning stakeholders, managing priorities, and driving projects from planning through execution.
  • Define success metrics, track performance, and continuously optimize strategies to improve product adoption, pipeline, conversion, and revenue impact.
  • Communicate insights, recommendations, progress, and results clearly to stakeholders and leadership, connecting marketing activities to business outcomes.

Innovation & AI-Native Ways of Working

  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate market research, competitive analysis, messaging development, content creation, and go-to-market execution.
  • Experiment with AI-powered workflows and automation to improve productivity, quality, and scalability of product marketing activities.
  • Bring a continuous-improvement mindset, sharing new approaches and contributing to more effective ways of working across the team.

What You Bring to The Role:

Required

  • 3+ years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS, with demonstrated success developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with experience using CRM data, pipeline reporting, competitive insights, and performance metrics to inform decisions.
  • Proven ability to develop compelling product positioning, differentiated messaging, sales enablement, and go-to-market programs that contribute to measurable business outcomes.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently own projects, navigate ambiguity, solve problems, and drive initiatives through execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and project leadership skills, with the ability to align stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate research, develop content, or streamline workflows, with curiosity to continually experiment and learn.
  • Resourceful, results-oriented, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be located in the Austin metro area and comfortable with a hybrid work model.

Preferred

  • Experience driving go-to-market growth for established B2B SaaS products, including customer acquisition, expansion, or adoption initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Seismic, marketing automation platforms, and product analytics tools.
  • Experience in security, emergency management, business continuity, or adjacent enterprise software markets.
  • Experience in a growth-stage company where you've helped build scalable processes and repeatable go-to-market motions.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
