The Opportunity
Join the Product Marketing and Marketing teams to help accelerate the awareness, adoption, and advocacy for TrustArc products. Looking for a “full stack” content strategist and product marketer - a critical-thinker, problem-solver, and do-er who can help with education and understanding of the exciting privacy space.

What You Will Do

  • You welcome the challenge to be the chief product evangelist for the TrustArc product you represent.  This includes internal and external promotion and enablement.

  • Deliver high-quality messaging and positioning that communicates the value of new and existing capabilities.

  • Create content to support product launches, positioning, sales materials, and demand generation campaigns (landing pages, email conversions, social media, blogs).

  • Write and experiment (A/B test) website content (messaging and positioning) with a data-driven perspective.

  • Project manage and work with internal and external collaboratives on product demo videos - with experience writing and developing video content.

  • Develop website content with an eye for solution marketing messaging and ability to make technical content easy to understand.

  • Conduct customer, market, and competitive research to shape messaging, campaigns, and sales artifacts.

  • Drive market analysis, competitor research, customer personal development, and value proposition creation.

  • Educate sales and customer-facing teams on current product messaging.

  • Outline and lead product marketing activities for product launches.

  • Assist with strategic initiatives to drive customer adoption and help existing customers get more value out of our software and services.

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Content marketing, Privacy experts, and Agencies to create full funnel solution marketing content.

  • Lead company research projects for thought leadership content and insights.

  • Write and edit engaging scripts for brands and products.

  • Support marketing in lead-gen activities like webinars, tradeshows, etc.

What You Will Bring

  • 3+ years or product marketing experience

  • 3+ years of experience writing a full range of content (ebooks, blogs, demo videos, emails, to sales materials).

  • You are proactive and carry a positive approach to working as a team.

  • Experience in SaaS or B2B is a huge plus.

  • Experience in online privacy a “nice-to-have” but not necessary.

  • Experience testing and optimizing content and CTAs to drive engagement.

  • Proven experience developing compelling product narratives.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Firm grasp of ways to develop strategic product marketing campaigns.

  • Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and accurately distill them into digestible content, for a wide range of audiences.

What We Offer

  • 100% Work from Home
  • Opportunities to participate in regional philanthropic activities
  • Opportunities to participate in health-focused activities - mindfulness, wellness, active lifestyle
  • $2,500 active employee referral program
  •
    Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000/year CAD
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
