Product Marketing Manager – Mobile Gaming, VR & Wearables

Razer is looking for someone passionate about the future of mobile gaming and wearables, driving how integrated hardware and software will take the experience of gaming on mobile devices forward to new heights. We’re looking for someone with experience building categories, managing roadmaps and powering go-to-market plans for mobile and wearable product ecosystems, coupled with the passion and drive to make the future possible at Razer.
The Product Marketing Manager will assume responsibility for global product strategy, product marketing, go-to-market planning and business management of Razer’s Mobile and Wearables category. Reporting to the head of the Mobile, Console and Streaming Division, this person will be focused on mobile and wearables category strategy, proving product and retail leadership by developing and executing marketing plans and business initiatives to achieve growth, revenue, and profitability targets.

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

  • Lead the development and execute global marketing launches and category sustain plans for the Razer mobile gaming category.  

  • Responsible for BU category forecasts, tracking, and revenue for the worldwide mobile gaming category, P&L management, and drive-to-goal actions. 

  • Own the consumer-facing product roadmaps for the mobile gaming category at Razer. 

  • Responsible for all product marketing and product management functions of the Razer mobile and wearables product category. 

  • Lead development of comprehensive launch plans for new product launches, present to internal stakeholders, and drive execution of plans at a detailed level. 

  • Support PR teams through participation, effectively communicate with the outside press, and represent the category, products, and company as required. 

  • Ensure mobile and wearables category preparation and delivery of on-time marketing assets for worldwide sales and communications channels. 

  • Responsible for the development of global marketing plans and reports for mobile gaming product lines to summarize key activities driving revenue and unit growth to meet targets (promotions, launches, PR, events, influencer seedings, collateral creation, digital marketing, etc.). 

  • Lead the strategy development and execution of mobile gaming product marketing activities for all regions, working closely with global and regional cross-functional teams. 

  • Function as global mobile and wearables product marketing point of contact for internal stakeholders including sales, regional marketing teams, PR, community, technical support, business development, operations, and finance. 

  • Represent Razer at public-facing events, and customer, and partner meetings, as requested.  

  • Attend relevant trade shows, join, and lead meetings, work the booth, and meet partners. 

  • Global product category expert for all technical-related questions related to mobile and wearables products and accessories. 

Pre-Requisites :

Qualifications: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Minimum of 5 years of experience in category or product marketing in the consumer electronics industry; gaming hardware is highly preferred with experience in mobile gaming, VR and/or wearables a big plus.  

  • Experience leading roadmap development and GTM execution of consumer technology products with a track record of successful launches.  

  • Experience leading the development and overseeing the execution of global product marketing plans.  

  • Experience with gaming or consumer electronics sales channels: retail, carrier, direct, online, and distribution.  

  • Able to write marketing copy and provide design direction on creative including digital marketing, web merchandising, print ads, video, graphics, etc.  

  • Has previously developed detailed marketing plans and was involved in articulating the strategy and requirements for success.  

  • Can work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.  

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills including ability to successfully interact with executive management.  

  • Experience in working in a Global company leading cross-functional international project teams with responsibility for the output of non-directly managed colleagues.  

  • Must have Microsoft Office Experience: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.  

Salary Ranges (per annum):

$93,600.00 - $165,000.00
