The Opportunity

AI is rapidly transforming the world. Whether it’s developing the next generation of human-level intelligence, enhancing voice assistants, or enabling researchers to analyze genetic markers at scale, AI is increasingly integrated into various aspects of our daily lives.

Arize AI is the leading AI observability and evaluation platform, empowering AI engineers to build and deploy high-performing, reliable models. As the AI landscape shifts from traditional ML to generative AI and agentic systems, Arize ensures teams have the tools to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve AI in production.

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Lead to help us translate complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategies. You’ll own key aspects of positioning, messaging, content creation, and product launches—working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Developer Relations to bring our AI observability and evaluation solutions to market.

The Team

You'll be joining a dynamic and deeply technical marketing team that operates at the cutting edge of AI. From creative brand storytellers and demand gen experts to field marketers who bring our message to community-leading events, we know how to engage AI engineers and technical decision-makers. You’ll collaborate closely with some of the most technical DevRel counterparts in the space—from former solutions architectures to AI engineers who live and breathe AI evaluation and observability.

If you're looking for a role where you can sharpen your technical depth while mastering the craft of go-to-market execution, this is it.

What You’ll Do

  • Positioning & Messaging – Develop and refine clear, differentiated positioning for Arize’s AI observability and evaluation products that resonate with AI engineers and technical decision-makers.
  • Sales Enablement – Create sales decks, one-pagers, demo flows, and training materials that help our GTM teams articulate Arize’s value to enterprises and open-source users.
  • Go-To-Market Strategy – Lead product launches and GTM initiatives, ensuring alignment across marketing, product, and sales teams.
  • Demo & Use Case Development – Work closely with Sales Engineers to craft compelling demo flows that showcase Arize’s capabilities for troubleshooting, fine-tuning, and evaluating LLMs and AI agents.
  • Content & Thought Leadership – Drive content creation, from technical blogs to case studies and conference presentations, to establish Arize as the leader in AI observability.
  • Customer Insights & Market Research – Gather intelligence on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and messaging.

Who You Are

  • Technical PMM Expertise – You have 4+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally with AI, developer tools, or technical SaaS products.
  • AI Fluency – You understand the AI/ML space—bonus points if you have experience in observability, evaluation, or agent-based systems.
  • Strategic & Execution-Oriented – You can go from high-level GTM planning to hands-on execution, ensuring campaigns and sales enablement materials drive results.
  • Storyteller for Technical Audiences – You know how to craft compelling messaging that resonates with engineers and enterprise buyers alike.
  • Sales & Product Savvy: – You’re comfortable working closely with sales teams, understanding customer objections, and refining messaging to address them.
  • Bias for Action – You thrive in fast-paced environments, taking ownership and moving projects forward with minimal oversight.

Our founders came together through a common frustration: investments in AI are growing rapidly across businesses and organizations of all types, yet it is incredibly difficult to understand why a machine learning model behaves the way it does after it is deployed into the real world.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
