The Product Marketing Manager will establish and manage competitive and market intelligence systems, providing insights and tools for sales and marketing efforts, along with running ongoing market research to enhance messaging.
About Owner.com
Owner is the AI growth system for local restaurants.
Our AI continuously improves SEO, marketing, and online ordering to grow first-party orders. Unlike other companies that force small business owners to master their software to drive sales, Owner gives them a proven system run by experts.
Owner is like having an army of engineers and marketers on your side, just like the big chains.
Our vision
We’re starting by helping independent restaurants succeed online.
But it’s not just restaurants that need our help. Most local businesses are struggling with these same problems. Huge technology corporations are taking their customers, bleeding their profits, and making it hard for them to survive.
Once we nail the solution for restaurants – we’ll scale it into every other local business type.
In the future we envision, tens of millions of local business owners will use our technology to succeed in the digital age.

Our traction
Since 2020, we've generated tens of millions in revenue and processed over half a billion dollars of online orders. 1 in 5 Americans have used an Owner.com website.
More importantly, we’ve helped over 20,000 restaurant owners, and saved them nearly $200 million in fees.
Our team
Our team is now in the low hundreds. We’ve got top talent from the most successful companies in SMB software, including: Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, ServiceTitan, Rappi, Faire and Stripe.
We’ll be scaling even faster in 2026 to keep pace with our customer growth.
Where we work
Owner is a remote-first, global company headquartered in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in-person collaboration at one of our office locations. Most of our teammates are distributed throughout the globe. Please review the role description and discuss with your recruiter for more details on location.
Why we’re looking for you
Owner is a performant product that restaurant owners love. (Check out our reviews!) The best way to sell Owner isn’t a feature checklist—it’s proof. Restaurant owners don’t want tech jargon. They want a clear, simple case for how Owner will drive more direct orders and more profit.
Our market moves fast. Leading competitors change pricing, packaging, and positioning all the time. New plays show up in deals before they show up anywhere else. If we’re late, we end up reacting instead of leading the conversation.
That’s where you come in. You’ll build and run our competitive and market intelligence system. You’ll gather real proof (quant + qual), turn it into clear points of view, and give customer-facing teams crisp guidance they can use to win deals.
This role is fully remote and can be based out of the United States or Canada.
The impact you’ll have:
- Build and run a competitive + market intel cadence with a proof-backed source of truth.
- Ship a monthly “what changed” update that’s evidence-based and easy to learn from.
- Partner with RevOps to own a clean win/loss-by-competitor view. E.g., dashboard + monthly readout for leaders.
- Turn intel into deal-ready enablement: battlecards, objection handling, and a small set of durable competitive frames that show up on calls.
- Run trainings and live enablement sessions that actually change how Sales talks about our product.
- Run recurring market research so our messaging stays grounded in what restaurants care about.
- Maintain a living “proof points” backlog and drive collection of the evidence we need to win competitive arguments.
Who you’ll work with:
- Gregory Ciotti (your manager) and the Marketing team
- Sales and Sales Enablement (your primary partners)
- RevOps/BizOps (data, dashboards, definitions)
- Product (market signal → positioning and build decisions)
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years in Product Marketing with a focus in competitive intelligent and market insights.
- Proven SaaS marketing experience in product marketing, competitive/market intelligence, sales enablement, or a closely related role.
- You’ve created competitive narratives and tools that changed what reps said in deals.
- You can run a repeatable intel cadence (capture → analyze → publish → train → refresh) and keep it alive.
- You can work with RevOps/BizOps to make win/loss real: clean definitions, usable dashboards, and trusted readouts.
- You write with precision: short, specific, and built for a rep mid-call.
- You’re comfortable being “the person who knows”: you chase proof, you call issues early, and you push for a response.
- You’re obsessed with AI upside. You currently use AI to move faster without sacrificing accuracy.
Pay and benefits:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $165,000 plus a generous pre-IPO equity package
- Other benefits include comprehensive health coverage, remote-first workplace, unlimited PTO - plus extra fun perks!
