About Us:

Datacor is the leading provider of software solutions, including ERP, CRM, Asset Tracking, Simulation and Formulation, to the process manufacturing space. We are on a mission to better equip the industry with software solutions and move it forward by building thoughtful, intuitive products that solve our customers’ most difficult problems.

We are passionate about serving our customers and helping them use data as a competitive advantage. Our customers make products that extend and sustain lives by sanitizing, fertilizing, beautifying, cleaning, and recycling the world we live in. We at Datacor help our customers make those products you use every day more safely, cost effectively and more efficiently through our technology platforms and applications.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Marketing Manager to own product marketing for Datacor’s current and upcoming ERP platforms, including the integrated MES, WMS, and CRM offerings built on them. You’ll build and deliver the positioning, messaging, content, and campaign materials that sell the ERP as a connected platform, making the case for native applications over standalone point solutions, for both new prospects and our existing customer base. As our portfolio grows, you’ll also contribute to go-to-market efforts for our AI products.

You’ll partner closely with VP Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Demand Generation to turn product capability into clear, differentiated messaging that goes directly into market. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys producing high-quality work directly, can explain complex functionality in terms process manufacturers care about, and wants to grow their scope over time.

Key Responsibilities

Go-to-Market Execution ERP Portfolio

  • Build and execute go-to-market plans for launches, releases, and updates across current and upcoming ERP platforms and their integrated MES, WMS, and CRM solutions.
  • Write and produce launch materials including product copy, webinar content, email campaign copy, sales-facing launch decks, product videos, supporting social content, and more.
  • Maintain clear, differentiated messaging across current and upcoming offerings to ensure customers and prospects understand what's current, what's available, and what's ahead.
  • Plan and execute content for webinars and user meetings, including agenda planning, presentation development and on-stage or on-camera delivery of product-focused sessions.
  • Contribute messaging and content to AI product launches as the portfolio evolves.

Demand Generation Partnership & Customer Marketing

  • Build messaging and content for solution adoption and expansion within the ERP customer base, including migration, upsell, and attach campaigns, while your campaign manager counterpart owns build, scheduling, and execution.
  • Work directly with Demand Generation to translate messaging and positioning into the campaign planning — providing theme, content, copy, and product direction they can put directly into market.
  • Meet regularly with your campaign manager counterpart to review what's resonating in market and adjust messaging and content accordingly.
  • Provide input on customer segmentation and lifecycle messaging so campaigns reflect where a customer sits in their journey with Datacor, from new-logo to renewal to expansion.

Positioning, Messaging & Content

  • Develop positioning and messaging for the ERP platform and its integrated MES, WMS, and CRM solutions, clearly distinguishing current capability from roadmap and articulating the advantages of a unified platform over best-of-breed alternatives.
  • Write and produce content for the ERP platform and its integrated solutions, including sales sheets, product web copy, blog content, customer stories, explainer videos, pitch decks, and competitive comparisons.
  • Ensure messaging consistency and brand compliance across all ERP-related content, and flag positioning gaps or cross-product inconsistencies as they arise.

Sales Enablement

  • Build and maintain battlecards, competitive intelligence briefs, and objection-handling guides for the ERP platform, including competitive positioning against standalone MES, WMS, and CRM vendors.
  • Coordinate and plan enablement sessions for Sales alongside Product Management.

Maintain a proof-point library of case studies, ROI data, and customer references for the ERP platform, including evidence of the value of integrated solutions.

Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Conduct win/loss interviews and monitor competitive activity for the ERP platform and integrated solutions, including standalone MES, WMS, and CRM competitors, and compile findings into actionable briefs.
  • Partner with VP Marketing and Product to surface customer and market signal that informs positioning and prioritization decisions.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing strategy and execution, ideally in B2B technology or vertical SaaS. Experience marketing to chemical or process manufacturing industries, or to ERP buyers specifically, is a strong plus.
  • Experience marketing an ERP or platform suite with add-on solutions, including positioning integrated capabilities against best-of-breed point solutions and messaging products still in development.
  • Hands-on, forward-thinking use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in day-to-day marketing work with a track record of finding new ways to apply AI to increase output and quality.
  • Hands-on experience building and executing marketing campaigns in a marketing automation platform (e.g., HubSpot), and creating content for social and digital channels.
  • Experience working day-to-day with a demand generation, translating messaging into assets that go directly into live campaigns.
  • Comfort presenting and delivering content at webinars, conferences, or user events.
  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail and a track record of independently managing complex, overlapping workstreams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling, differentiated narratives for technical audiences.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in tools such as HubSpot, Canva, Salesforce or similar marketing/product tech stacks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

At Datacor, we believe great work deserves great rewards. That’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Flexible time off (FTO) policy
  • Paid parental leave

  • 401(k) with company contribution
  • Premier medical, vision, and dental insurance with company-funded HRA
  • Competitive pay and bonus programs
  • Employee assistance program
  • A culture of rewards and recognition

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
