Hilbert is a scalable, data science-first growth engine that gives B2C teams predictive clarity into user behavior, revenue drivers, and the actions that drive sustainable growth. Fully agentic by design, Hilbert shrinks months-long decision cycles to minutes.

From Fortune 10 enterprises to beloved brands like FreshDirect, Blank Street, and Levain Bakery, operators run their growth on Hilbert. We're also co-building alongside leading AI companies.

We're hiring a Product Marketing Lead who can turn what Hilbert does into a story that stands out and who can build the entire marketing function from the ground up. You'll own positioning and messaging, ship the marketing materials that support every deal, get our thinking in front of the right audiences, build our presence through podcasts and events, and shape how the world understands Hilbert as we scale.

THE ROLE

You will be Hilbert's first dedicated marketing hire, working directly with the founding team to define how we show up in the market; across product, brand, and demand. This is a builder's seat: you set the strategy and do the work yourself, then build the team beneath you as Hilbert scales.

What you'll do:

  • Set positioning and messaging for Hilbert, and carry it through every new product launch

  • Own go-to-market strategy and customer communications for updates

  • Own end-to-end product marketing efforts including external communications, messaging, and launch strategy

  • Build and run Hilbert's content engine: podcast, thought leadership, case studies, and marketing materials

  • Plan and run events that put Hilbert in front of the operators and enterprises who need us most

  • Partner directly with the founding team and GTM leaders on go-to-market strategy, pricing, and market research

  • Set the brand voice and keep it consistent across every touchpoint

  • Develop repeatable marketing systems, content cadence, and measurement as the function scales

  • Build and lead a marketing team as Hilbert grows, and shape the function's roadmap from here

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE

The right person for this role is has a knack for turning complex product updates into clear, structured communications, who is a builder, and a storyteller.

The profile:

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing with experience supporting enterprise customers

  • You owned marketing broadly: positioning, messaging, pricing, launches

  • You can work with a technical, data-heavy product

  • You understand product marketing fundamentals and communicate with clarity

  • You have experience running product launches and marketing strategies, ideally at a fast-moving product or technology company.

  • You have a genuine passion for shaping the future of work with AI, a growth mindset, and a scrappy, high-ownership approach to getting things done, where you define your own playbook

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
