Data Axle is looking for a curious, motivated summer intern to join our Product Marketing team. This internship is designed for students who want hands-on experience at the intersection of product, marketing, and go-to-market strategy in a fast-paced, B2B environment.
You’ll work closely with product marketers, product managers, and cross-functional partners to support research, messaging, and launch initiatives, contributing real work that influences how our products go to market.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and customer research to support product positioning and go-to-market strategies
- Assist with competitive intelligence, including research, analysis, and synthesis of competitor offerings, messaging, and differentiation
- Support product launches and releases, helping with project management tasks such as timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination
- Help draft and refine product messaging and positioning, including value propositions and external-facing copy (content for campaigns, website, etc.)
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent and compelling product narratives
- Create summaries, slides, and written outputs that translate research and insights into clear recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
- 6 to 12 months prior work experience, including internships, is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with an interest in market research and competitive analysis
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks or deadlines
- Curious about how products are positioned, launched, and sold in B2B environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (experience with PPT and docs is preferred)
- Experience conducting research or synthesizing insights into presentations is a plus
- Self-starter who can work independently but enjoys being part of a team
