What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Intern to join our dynamic and innovative marketing team for the summer. If you’re passionate about technology, storytelling, and crafting go-to-market strategies that make an impact, this internship is for you. As a Product Marketing Intern at Contentstack, you’ll work closely with our Product Marketing team to help articulate the value of our platform through research, messaging, and customer-focused content. You’ll play a key role in translating insights into compelling communications that resonate with our customers.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct in-depth competitive research on Digital Experience Platforms, analyzing product features, market messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights to inform Contentstack’s positioning and messaging strategy.
  • Help create and distribute content for Contentstack Pulse, our customer engagement and communications hub.
  • Collaborate with product marketers to develop messaging frameworks and customer-facing collateral.
  • Support ongoing customer engagement initiatives, product launches, and internal enablement efforts.
  • Maintain organized records of competitive intel and marketing content to support broader GTM initiatives.

What really gets us excited about you?

  • You’re currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and translating complex information into clear messaging.
  • You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • You enjoy research and analysis and can distill large amounts of information into strategic takeaways.
  • You’re curious, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • Bonus if you have familiarity with content management systems (CMS) or SaaS products.

If you’re ready to build your product marketing skills, contribute to meaningful work, and learn from a supportive and collaborative team, we’d love to have you on board!

Salary for this role is $20 per hour, up to 28 hours per week.

What Do We Offer?

Interesting Work | We hire curious trendspotters and brave trendsetters. This is NOT your boring, routine, cushy, rest-and-vest corporate job. This is the “challenge yourself” role where you learn something new every day, never stop growing, and have fun while you’re doing it.

Tribe Vibe | We are more than colleagues, we are a tribe. We have a strict “no a**hole policy” and enforce it diligently. This means we spend time together - with spontaneous office happy hours, organized outings, and community volunteer opportunities. We are a diverse and distributed team, but we like to stay connected.

Bragging Rights | We are dreamers and dream makers. Our efforts pay off and we work with the most prestigious brands, from big-name retailers to airlines, to professional sports teams. Your contribution will make an impact with many of the most recognizable names in almost every industry including AirFrance KLM, ASICS, Burberry, Mattel, Mitsubishi, Walmart, and many more!

One Team One Dream | This is one of our values, and it shows. We don’t believe in artificial hierarchies. If you’re part of the tribe, you have an opportunity to contribute. Your voice will be heard and you will also receive regular updates about the business and its performance. Which, btw, is through the roof, so it’s a great time to be joining…

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
