Build the Future of Finance with AI

Who we are:

Vic.ai is on a mission to transform one of the most outdated and time-consuming workflows in finance: invoice processing. For more than eight years, we’ve been using AI to eliminate manual work, accelerate operations, and help finance teams move at the speed of modern business—while delivering clear, measurable ROI.

We’re not making small tweaks—we’re driving a fundamental shift in how accounting teams operate. To date, we’ve processed over half a billion invoices with up to 99% accuracy, helping more than 10,000 customers save nearly $188 million, reclaim over 6 million hours of time, and dramatically improve the efficiency and scalability of their finance operations. That’s not just better software—that’s real business impact.

We’re a Series C company backed by some of the best investors in tech—Costanoa Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, Notable Capital, and ICONIQ Capital—and we’re just getting started.

Why Work at Vic.ai?

Because this is where you get to open doors for a product that actually works.

At Vic.ai, you’ll be on the front lines of building AI products that finance leaders rely on for real, measurable results. You’ll work alongside ambitious, driven, and supportive teammates across engineering, design, and go-to-market who move fast, challenge assumptions, and take ownership of outcomes. This isn’t about shipping features for the sake of it — it’s about deeply understanding customer workflows and turning them into products that save millions of dollars and reclaim millions of hours through applied AI.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping product strategy, owning key parts of the roadmap, and driving initiatives from discovery through delivery and adoption. You’ll define problems worth solving, make hard prioritization calls, and help determine how Vic.ai builds and wins in the market. You’ll sharpen your product craft, learn how to operate at scale in an AI-first company, and grow your career while helping define a new category.

If you’re excited about owning real problems, building from first principles, and shipping products that fundamentally change how finance teams work - we’d love to meet you.

Product Manager

Our Product team deeply understands our customers, empathizes with their needs, analyzes how it impacts our business, strategically selects which challenges to tackle, comes up with innovative solutions, works diligently to make them a reality, and consistently learns from the results.

Vic.ai has a small but outstanding team, and as a product manager, you'll play a crucial part in our product's success. This role is ideal for a product manager who wants more than feature delivery. You’ll help define problems, influence strategy, and work closely with engineering, stakeholders, and customers. Your decisions will matter, and your impact will be visible. Your leadership skills will be key in partnering with a diverse team of designers, engineers, support, and sales to turn these solutions into reality.

What you’ll do:

  • Product Ownership: Own product areas across purchase order management, invoice processing and P2P automation.

  • Product Development: Collaborate with our engineering and design teams to conceptualize and develop new features and products.

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and opportunities.

  • User Experience: Champion the user experience, ensuring our products are intuitive and meet customer expectations.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to make informed product decisions and drive improvements.

  • Agile Development: Work within an agile development framework, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other agile processes, balancing strategy and execution in a fast-moving startup environment

  • Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, feature specifications, and release notes.

  • Metric Focused: Take accountability for outcomes– not just outputs

  • AI Champion: Help define, experiment with, and evolve AI-powered product experiences, including how automation, machine learning, and emerging AI tools are applied to real customer problems

What you'll need:

  • 3–5 years of Product Management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS. Background in finance, accounting, AP/AR, or payments is a strong plus. Experience working on AI-powered, data-driven, or automation products is highly desirable.

  • Startup or high-growth experience is helpful, but not required. Experience working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where AI capabilities are evolving quickly is a plus.

  • AI-First Product Thinker: You’re comfortable partnering with engineering and data science to define, ship, and iterate on AI-driven features. You understand the basics of how ML-powered products are built, trained, evaluated, and improved over time — and how that impacts UX, roadmap planning, and customer expectations.

  • Strategic Thinker: You possess a strategic mindset and can navigate the intersection of customer needs, market trends, AI capabilities, and business objectives to define a clear and differentiated product vision.

  • Passion for Innovation: You’re passionate about driving innovation and are excited to work on applied AI solutions that have a meaningful impact on our customers and the industry.

  • Effective Communicator: You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can convey complex ideas — including technical and AI-related concepts — clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Results-Oriented: You’re driven by results and have a track record of delivering successful products on time and within scope, using data, experimentation, and measurable outcomes to guide decisions.

  • Values-Driven: You not only understand our values but also embody them in your work. You actively promote and integrate our values into your daily activities, fostering a culture of humility, agility, and results-driven collaboration across the organization.

What you’ll get in return:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
