The Role

As a Product Manager at Sharebite, you'll own the strategy and roadmap for a specific product area, transforming business goals into delivered value that enhances and redefines the corporate food space. You'll translate customer needs and market opportunities into clear product requirements, prioritized backlogs, and measurable outcomes that drive adoption, retention, and business growth. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Growth, and Data teams to ship high-impact features quickly, balance competing priorities, and raise the bar for product excellence across the organization. This role blends product strategy and ownership with hands-on execution - leading discovery, defining requirements, and representing Product leadership at the squad level to build products that move our business forward.

What You’ll Do
  • Own strategy and roadmap for your product area by identifying and defining problems, prioritizing solutions, and driving measurable business outcomes from discovery through delivery and iteration.
  • Translate business objectives and customer pain points into clear problem statements, hypotheses, prioritized opportunities, and success metrics.
  • Plan and lead discovery through user interviews, data analysis, competitive research, and market insights. Synthesize findings into user stories and actionable product scope.
  • Help balance out short-term wins with long-term vision, while clearly communicating trade-offs and aligning stakeholders expectations.
  • Write detailed product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria with edge cases, business logic, data requirements, and success metrics to guide engineering implementation.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning for your product areas. and make real-time prioritization decisions that balance scope, quality, and velocity.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design and other stakeholders throughout the software development life cycle to validate implementation and ensure delivery meets requirements.
  • Define go-to-market strategies with Growth, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Plan rollouts, measure adoption, and iterate based on user feedback and performance data.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch through analytics dashboards, user feedback, and OKRs, and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional squad meetings with clear agendas and outcomes. Help in representing Product perspective in company-wide planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Operate with ownership and urgency by balancing out speed with rigor, advocate for users while driving business results, and consistently deliver outcomes that move the company and mission forward.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 4–7+ years of product management experience shipping B2B SaaS, marketplace, or platform products at scale, including ownership of a core product area with measurable business impact.
  • Strong product strategy skills with ability to build multi-quarter roadmaps, prioritize ruthlessly based on data and customer insights, and articulate compelling product vision to diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfortable conducting user interviews, analyzing behavioral data, running experiments, and synthesizing insights into clear product requirements and opportunity assessments.
  • Deep collaboration with Engineering, Design and key stakeholders from discovery through delivery, making clear and pragmatic decisions on scope, trade-offs, and technical constraints with strong technical fluency.
  • Proficient in defining KPIs, collaborating on instrumentation and analytics, interpreting A/B test results, and iterating based on quantitative and qualitative feedback to drive product decisions.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies and product development processes including sprint planning, backlog management, user story writing, and leading cross-functional squads through delivery cycles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, producing clear PRDs, concise stakeholder updates, and effective async collaboration while aligning teams around shared goals and priorities.
  • High bias for action with ability to move fast and manage ambiguity while maintaining focus on long-term business outcomes, shipping iteratively without sacrificing strategic thinking or product quality.
  • Customer-centric approach that serves as the voice of the user within the building, builds empathy across teams, and balances user needs with business constraints and technical feasibility.
  • Strong leadership and influence skills that enable leading without authority, giving and receiving feedback constructively, elevating product thinking across peers, and helping establish best practices for the product organization.

At Sharebite, we are committed to providing competitive pay in line with industry and market standards. The base compensation range for this role is $125k - $150k per year, however actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and location. Salary is just one component of Sharebite's total compensation package, which includes equity, multiple health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits, including a daily meal stipend.
