About Passage Health

Passage Health is a fast-growing start-up, on a mission to improve the quality and accessibility of autism care through dynamic software solutions. The diagnosis rate for autism has skyrocketed in the last 10 years to 1 in 36 children. Those children will have to wait up to 1 year to receive therapy as service providers, hampered by antiquated technology, are struggling to meet surging demand. We are building a modern electronic medical record (EMR) that will revolutionize the $460B autism care market.

What you will be doing

As an early Product Manager hire, you will take an active role in shaping product decisions and executing our product development lifecycle from research through development. You will work directly with the rest product, design, engineering, and other stakeholders across the company and our customers. We are looking for collaborative, pragmatic, and ambitious product managers who want to make a tremendous impact on providers and patients alike. You will take ownership and help shape many components across our product: clinical care delivery, scheduling, billing, practice management, and more. You will help define the product team and foster a collaborative team environment. You will have opportunities to learn and grow and achieve goals well beyond this job description. This position is NYC hybrid and requires a minimum of 3 days in office.

What success looks like

  • Help research, plan, build, maintain, and iterate on our product.
  • Help improve healthcare for our patients and providers by developing a world-class EMR system.

  • Multiply the outcomes of your teammates through collaboration.
  • Engage in the entire life cycle of product development, including research, solution ideation, and software development execution (sprint planning, retrospectives, QA).
  • Build an understanding of our business and industry, enabling our innovative approach to healthcare software with your product decisions.
What you will bring
  • At least 2 years of product management experience.
  • You get things done. You know how to cut through ambiguity and have a strong bias for action.
  • You have experience shipping high-impact customer-facing products.
  • You know how to access and leverage data for decision-making.
  • You set a high bar for user experience.
  • You can anticipate technical and operational risks and help mitigate them.
  • You will place compliance, security, and ethics at the forefront of our systems.
Why Passage Health?

  • Chance to use your skills to help children with autism.
  • Preference for working in a fast-paced environment with exciting challenges.
  • Competitive salary and equity compensation.
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision benefits.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
