What We Need

We’re seeking a Product Manager who is passionate about building systems that scale, solve complex operational challenges, and streamline how our teams work. In this role, you’ll focus on our DME Supplier partner experience, particularly through ownership of our Fulfill portal. You’ll partner closely with engineering, data, and operations to drive impact across one of the most critical areas of our business.

This is an individual contributor role with high visibility, growth potential, and strategic importance as Synapse continues to expand.

What You Will Do

Product Ownership & Execution

  • Own and evolve the roadmap for the Fulfill product areas that enable our DME suppliers and internal operations teams to scale effectively.
  • Manage the product backlog, lead grooming sessions, and drive sprint planning and execution with a dedicated engineering team.
  • Use a data-informed approach to define success metrics, monitor product performance, and iterate accordingly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, analytics, and leadership to deeply understand user needs and pain points.
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption of your product solutions.
  • Support the development of go-to-market and internal rollout plans for new tools, processes, or features.

Continuous Improvement

  • Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems by leading discovery and user research efforts.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies or manual workarounds in internal workflows and propose scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to our growing product culture by sharing insights, best practices, and lessons learned across the team.

What You Have

At Synapse Health we’ve intentionally built a culture of kindness, collaboration and creativity, and we consider those qualities to be table stakes for any new team member. Additional requirements include:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a scrum team and driving feature execution from idea to delivery.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to advocate for your point of view—even in the face of senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort with data, metrics, and experimentation to inform product decisions.
  • A collaborative mindset and ownership mentality—you think in terms of "we" before "me."
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

What Sets You Apart

  • Experience building or optimizing patient workflow tools
  • Familiarity with EHRs, healthcare operations, or DME workflows.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative—someone who doesn't wait to be told where the problems are.
  • Insightful communicator who knows how to bring others along in your thinking.
  • Passion for solving real-world problems that impact patient care, even if indirectly.
  • Knowledge or expertiseleveraging artificial intelligence to process and analyze documentation to extract meaningful data points.

What Sets Us Apart

It’s no secret that most of us work to provide for ourselves and those we love, but just because we have to work, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it. In fact, at Synapse Health, we insist on it! We want our team members to thrive personally and professionally, which is why our benefits include:

  • Professional growth opportunities with compelling career paths
  • Healthy work-life balance culture with paid time off (PTO)
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance for full-time team members
  • 401K savings plan with employer contribution match

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
