Job Description

•    Gather and summarize information on what our clients need and want.
•    Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
•    Validate specifications with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Provide feedback on specifications written by others.
•    Build consensus on project scope and feasibility.
•    Provide initial user feedback on features during the development process.
•    Demonstrate the team’s work to clients and internal stakeholders.  
•    Serve as a subject matter expert for Client Support, Professional Services, Advent University, and others.

•    Willing to travel occasionally.

Preferred qualifications:
We are open to a variety of backgrounds, but some knowledge, skills, and experience would be useful.
•    Bachelor’s degree (especially in a field with a quantitative focus, such as finance, engineering, or the physical sciences)
•    Familiar with financial markets and the investment management industry (especially alternative asset management, fund administration, and fund accounting)
•    Experience with programming or software development.
•    Hands-on experience using portfolio accounting software and fund accounting software.
•    Experience with networking, database management systems (especially SQL Server), software development methods (especially Agile), programming languages, and DevOps practices.
•    Writing experience (especially on technical topics)
