Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Determine product strategy, vision and roadmap for products. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Participate in project planning sessions with business analysts and cross-functional teams of user research, market research, and technology partners to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Design, develop and modify software systems and determine system performance standards. Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives. Create Jira Epics with use-cases, detailed product business & technical requirements, nonfunctional requirements. Drive Product backlog, work closely with production support, issue & defect resolution taking into account user needs, business impacts and technical effort. Monitor the day-to-day and monthly health of the product (scorecards, volumes, problems). Provide updates for executive reports summarizing the features in flight and new feature delivery planning. Conduct pre-release reviews which could include demos and testing validation. Telecommuting permitted up to 100% of the time within California only. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, IT Business Analyst, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Technology Lead, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: SDLC; Business Analysis; Project management; Production testing and certification; Application development; Jira; Java; J2EE; Web services including SOAP or REST; JavaScript; Struts; Spring; Hibernate; HTML; XML; SQL; Oracle; DB2; Teradata; Splunk; Source code management tools.
Job Location: 3223 Hanover St, Palo Alto, CA 94304. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 100% of the time within California only.
Full-Time. Salary: $176,300 - $201,000 per year.
