We’re seeking a dynamic, execution-focused Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle of products across Givzey and Version2.ai. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and is passionate about solving real-world problems through technology. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, manage roadmaps, and ship products that drive business impact and user delight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Collaborate with founders and stakeholders to define product goals, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with business objectives across both products..
  • User Discovery & Insights: Work closely with the VP of Customer Success to coordinate customer interviews, gather feedback, and synthesize insights to deeply understand user needs in both the philanthropic and AI domains.
  • Execution & Delivery: Write clear product specs, prioritize features, and work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver product releases on time.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Facilitate agile planning, lead stand-ups, and serve as the go-to resource between tech, ops, and client teams.
  • Unit Economics & Cost Analysis: Partner with Finance/Ops to model COGS, gross‑margin, and lifetime value; surface cost drivers early in the product‑discovery process and ensure roadmap priorities improve both user value and contribution margin.
  • KPI Definition & Accountability: Establish leading/lagging KPIs across acquisition, engagement, retention, revenue, and cost—including COGS and payback period—then instrument dashboards, run A/B tests, and iterate based on the results.
  • Innovation & Market Awareness: Stay ahead of trends in AI, nonprofit tech, and SaaS; identify new opportunities to enhance our offerings.
Qualifications
  • US Citizen
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Product Management or related roles in a SaaS, fintech, or AI-driven environment.
  • Proven experience managing Agile sprints, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming in collaboration with engineering and design teams.
  • Hands-on proficiency with JIRA for task management, sprint tracking, roadmap planning, and maintaining transparency with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including developing and maintaining product roadmaps, timelines, and delivery milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear user stories, epics, and technical specifications.
  • Experience coordinating between engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact features.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup environment, with the ability to pivot quickly and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Notion, Slack, Figma, and GitHub to facilitate collaboration and documentation.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management and iterative development, with a data-informed and customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to drive decision-making using KPIs, analytics, and user feedback to prioritize features and optimize product performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to align stakeholders and present product updates or strategic plans to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working on or with B2B platforms, donor engagement tools, CRM integrations, or generative AI applications is a strong plus.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising or donor engagement
  • Experience with generative AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • Background in product design, data analytics, or software engineering

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
