Roadie, a UPS company, is a leading logistics and delivery platform that helps businesses tackle the complexities of modern retail with unmatched delivery coverage, flexibility and visibility. Reaching 97% of U.S. households across more than 30,000 zip codes — from urban hubs to rural communities — Roadie provides seamless, scalable solutions that meet a variety of delivery needs.

With a network of more than 310,000 independent drivers nationwide, Roadie offers flexible delivery solutions that make complex logistics challenges easy, including solutions for local same-day delivery, delivery of big and bulky items, ship-from-store and DC-to-door.

Our Product team is hyper-focused on creating products that solve real-world problems in the logistics space. We are looking for a Product Manager to develop and execute a vision for Roadie’s high capacity drivers. You will be focused on evaluating and refining the driver experience including everything from onboarding to finding and completing deliveries. Collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments, this role will work to understand and execute on business needs that not only enable but set our Roadie drivers up for success.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with the Product Lead of the Drive Experience to identify goals, direction, and execution of the delivery engagement vision
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams—Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and more—to align product vision with business objectives, navigate constraints, and drive meaningful outcomes
  • Keep leadership informed of updates on product direction, wins, and roadblocks—ensuring alignment, momentum, and support at every stage
  • Become an expert in the qualitative and quantitative experience data of our driver community and bring that back to the team as insight
  • Identify areas to define & refine the delivery engagement experience for Roadie’s high capacity driver base, then execute on this vision with the Mobile, Backend, and Data Science teams
  • Scope, plan, and deliver an actionable product backlog, prioritizing stories, and ship high-quality features weekly
  • Lead projects end-to-end as well as partnering cross-functionally to evaluate impact

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in the product development life cycle
  • Experience regularly shipping features and maintaining a mature product
  • Experience collaborating with development, QA, and UX teams in an agile environment
  • Experience with crowdsourced driver apps and/or logistics is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, using data to drive decision-making
  • Basic knowledge of technical concepts used to scope out features with developers
  • Thrive in ambiguous environments and competing priorities
  • Radical thinking paired with strong execution- you can envision a world different than the status quo with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there

Why Roadie?

  • Competitive compensation packages
  • 100% covered health insurance premiums for yourself
  • 401k with company match
  • Tuition and student loan repayment assistance (that’s right - Roadie will contribute directly to your existing student loans!)
  • Flexible work schedule with unlimited PTO
  • Monthly 3-day weekends
  • Monthly WFH stipend
  • The technology you need to get the job done

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
