If you’re passionate about gaming and have a knack for gamifying everyday life, you’ll thrive in our fast-moving, collaborative environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead our efforts in building and evolving reward systems, progression mechanics, and monetization strategies that enhance the experience for creators, gifters, and viewers. You will play a key role in shaping the incentives, live operations, game mechanics, and content delivery systems that drive engagement and retention across the favorited platform.

This role requires someone who understands the intersection of gaming and social platforms, thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments, is passionate about empowering creators, and is motivated to deliver a world-class user experience through gamification.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager with a strong background in consumer, social, or gaming products to help drive key areas of our mobile experience—specifically notifications, sharing systems, and core user flows.

This role is highly execution-focused and requires someone who deeply understands user behavior, engagement loops, and retention mechanics. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and growth teams to ship impactful features that improve activation, re-engagement, and overall user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Own and drive product initiatives across notifications, sharing, and mobile user flows.

  • Define and optimize engagement loops, including push notifications, in-app messaging, and social sharing mechanics.

  • Partner with engineering and design to deliver intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences across iOS and Android.

  • Use data and user insights to identify opportunities to improve activation, retention, and engagement.

  • Write clear product requirements, define success metrics, and ensure high-quality execution.

  • Lead projects end-to-end, from ideation through launch and iteration.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with growth, marketing, support, data, and creator teams to align on product strategy.

  • Continuously test, learn, and iterate in a fast-paced, live product environment.

  • Anticipate user needs and identify opportunities to enhance the social and interactive experience.

What We’re Looking For
  • 4–8+ years of experience in product management, ideally in consumer-facing products.

  • Strong background in social platforms, gaming, or live-service products.

  • Deep understanding of mobile product development, including iOS and Android ecosystems.

  • Experience building and optimizing notifications, sharing systems, and engagement features.

  • Strong product intuition around user behavior, retention, storyboarding, and growth loops.

  • Ability to operate with speed and clarity in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Highly analytical with experience using data to drive product decisions.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional team communication, both in real-time and asynchronous.

What Stands Out
  • Experience working on real-time or highly interactive products.

  • Background in gamification, engagement systems, or creator tools.

  • Proven design thinking skills coupled with strong product scoping experience.

  • Strong understanding of viral loops and social mechanics.

  • Passion for live streaming, gaming culture, and creator ecosystems.

  • Experience building products at scale with millions of users.

Salary & Benefits

Compensation: $105k - $168k base + equity.

Benefits Include:

  • Unlimited PTO.

  • 401(k) plan with a match.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Paid company holidays.

  • Competitive salary.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
