Lead product strategy and execution for a B2B SaaS marketing analytics platform. Translate research into requirements, own the backlog, partner with engineering and GTM, define success metrics, and ship API- and data-heavy features for technical users.
The summary above was generated by AI

We’re hiring an experienced product manager to help us build the future of marketing planning and analysis. Recast’s platform includes a flagship marketing mix model and planning suite along with a platform for designing and analyzing geographic-level incrementality experiments, all delivered through a user-facing application, public API, and MCP server.

At Recast, you will translate strategic product direction into clear, verifiable requirements, own and prioritize the product backlog, and partner closely with the engineering manager to drive work from ambiguity to shipped.

What You'll Do in Your First 6 Months
  • Go deep on Recast’s product and customers: understand how our technical users engage with our products, what their needs are, and where the friction is
  • Co-own go-to-market: the work isn’t shipped until users are getting value out of the feature, so PMs are expected to work closely with marketing and GTM teams on how to successfully deliver products people are willing to pay for
  • Partner with the engineering manager to align on priorities and unblock execution early and often
  • Own success metrics: you define what good should look like before work starts
  • Keep stakeholders across sales and leadership informed on what’s in flight and why
You Might Be a Great Fit If You Have Experience in…
  • 5+ years of PM experience at B2B SaaS companies with meaningful experience in data or analytics products
  • A proven track record shipping complex technical products in a fast-moving environment
  • Shipping API products: you understand how technical customers consume your products and how to spec them clearly
  • Productizing data-heavy statistical and machine learning models
  • Working heavily with AI tools, and ideally thinking about how to utilize them to make new and better product experiences
What Gets You Fired Up
  • Translating PhD-level statistical research into executable engineering specs
  • Being part of a remote, async-first team spread across time zones where clear written communication is essential
  • Having a wide scope: you’ll be responsible for QA, documentation, and internal and external messaging in addition to the roadmap and feature planning
  • Owning a product with a technical audience: your users are developers, marketing analysts, and data scientists who notice when something isn’t right
Company Benefits
  • Work wherever you’re happiest. We're fully remote
  • Competitive remote salary along with early stage equity
  • Your local holidays plus unmetered PTO (minimum 2 weeks mandatory PTO!)
  • An async-first culture with a focus on documentation over standing meetings
  • Autonomy and support to do your best work in your own time
Note:

Recast is committed to building a diverse team so if you are from an under-represented background in tech (e.g., women, BIPOC, etc.) please apply even if you don't necessarily check all of the boxes here.

While Recast is officially based in the US, we're a fully remote team (one founder lives in Brooklyn, the other in Mexico City with team members in 6+ countries around the world). We can't sponsor visas at this time, however we are happy to have you join remotely from wherever you are.

If this sounds interesting to you, we'd love to learn more about you!

We run identity verification and background screening to confirm that the candidate behind the screen is authentic. If offered the position, only verified candidates move forward in our hiring process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
