Role Overview:

We are seeking a Product Manager with a background in civil or structural engineering to bridge technical expertise with product development. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering background to guide product features, refine generative design algorithms, and optimize workflows. This is a unique opportunity to transition into product management and shape a groundbreaking AI product in construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Planning & Execution: Manage the product lifecycle for Structural CoPilot, ensuring that new features align with user needs in the construction and engineering industries.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to refine the product, focusing on usability and efficiency in 3D modeling.
  • Customer-Centric Development: Collect user feedback, prioritize feature requests, and plan product improvements that directly enhance construction workflow and compliance with U.S. building codes.
  • Market Insight & Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends in generative design and construction technology to continually improve product features.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s in civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in a related field, ideally in structural engineering or construction; experience in 3D modeling is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills,  with a passion for transitioning to product management.
  • Mindset: A passion for the construction industry, adaptability in a startup environment, and interest in applying engineering knowledge to product development.
