- Accelerate Innovation: Use AI to build and iterate quickly, from user research to prototypes to specs, giving it clear context so outputs need minimal rework, while reserving your own judgment for strategy and stakeholder alignment.
- Simplify Complexity: Distill nuanced clinical needs into elegant, scalable product requirements while maintaining a relentless focus on priority.
- Balance & Scale: Navigate high-stakes tradeoffs to deliver efficiency and scalability without ever compromising on clinical quality.
- Unify Teams: Act as the bridge between lab directors, scientists, and global engineering teams to ensure seamless product releases.
- Guardian of Trust: Oversee the health of your product area, including data privacy, security, and governance within our AI-driven solutions.
About you:
- Educational Foundation: B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Domain Expertise: Deep experience or knowledge of clinical genomics and variant interpretation; you understand the science behind the software.
- Proven PM Track Record: 5+ years of software product management experience in a biotech laboratory, ideally within a clinical setting.
- AI Fluency: Comfortable building AI tools and applying critical judgment to what they output and when AI-driven automation is worth building to drive efficiency, all while keeping product integrity, user needs, business goals, and privacy or regulatory requirements in mind.
- Clarity & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to translate complex technical/biological nuances into clear, actionable product needs.
- Execution Mindset: Highly organized and reliable. You thrive in ever-changing environments and have the backbone to make high-stakes, risk-based tradeoff decisions.
