Job Description:

A Product Manager works to roadmap and deliver core functionality that helps our customers improve their learning and business outcomes. They deliver important features and further areas of focus that align to our company strategy. Their role is to help identify and build frictionless points of engagement with our users.

Who you’re committed to being:

  • You enjoy learning and are open to new ways of doing things.

  • You are not afraid to be yourself, experiment, make mistakes and learn from them, ask questions, or voice your concerns.

  • When communicating you are self-aware, insightful, and proactive.

  • You love partnering across the organization and have experiencing driving GTM coordination as well as partnership across your technical teams.

  • You believe in continuous improvement and request frequent feedback from others.

What you’ll do:

  • Solution Package Framework: Own the cross-functional product layer that enables Pluralsight to define, configure, and launch solution packages rapidly — working across PMs to ensure content, assessment, lab, and service components can be assembled into coherent, outcome-oriented offerings.

  • Active Package Portfolio: Serve as the ongoing business line owner for current packages (AI Academy, SecureReady, CloudReady) — continuously iterating on content scope, structure, and outcomes in response to customer feedback, market signals, and performance data.

  • GTM Coordination: Drive pricing, packaging, positioning, and launch strategy for new and existing solution packages in close partnership with sales, marketing, and channel teams — moving the model from one-time launches to a repeatable, scalable GTM motion.

  • Cross-Divisional Alignment: Coordinate with Pluralsight's consulting and in-person learning divisions to ensure solution packages reflect a coherent, end-to-end customer experience where multiple delivery modalities are involved.

  • Partner & Sales Enablement: Define the requirements and product foundation for enabling sales teams and channel partners to configure and propose solution packages — targeting a self-serve package creation capability by end of 2026.

  • Pipeline Expansion: Identify and prioritize net-new solution package opportunities based on market demand, competitive landscape, and Pluralsight's content strengths.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Experience operating at the intersection of product management and go-to-market — owning not just feature definition but pricing, packaging, and commercial performance of a product line or offering.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across product, sales, marketing, and partnerships without direct authority over those teams.

  • Experience managing a portfolio of products or SKUs with distinct customer segments, price points, and value propositions.

  • Familiarity with solution selling or outcome-based packaging in a B2B SaaS context — ideally where offerings bundle software, content, and services across organizational boundaries.

  • Strong commercial instincts: able to assess market opportunity, build business cases, and connect product decisions to revenue and retention outcomes.

  • Experience working with channel partners or enabling sales teams to configure and position complex offerings is a strong plus.

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building repeatable frameworks where none previously existed.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Product Manager for SaaS or software products

  • Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams comprised of Engineers and Product Designers

  • Proven experience working with ambiguity and being able to build strategic direction and roadmap

  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

Why you’ll love working here:

  • We work in a blended environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and connection across teams.

  • We are mission-driven, shaping the future of tech upskillling and delivering impact that matters.

  • We foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, where everyone can contribute and thrive.

  • We are always learning, creating an environment where you can take on new challenges, expand your skills, and grow with purpose.

  • Benefits include competitive compensation, bonus eligibility, comprehensive medical coverage, unlimited PTO, wellness reimbursement, professional development funds, and more.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
