About Us

Chainlink Labs is the primary contributing developer of Chainlink, the decentralized computing platform powering the verifiable web. Chainlink is the industry-standard platform for providing access to real-world data, offchain computation, and secure cross-chain interoperability across any blockchain. Chainlink Labs helps power verifiable applications for banking, DeFi, global trade, and gaming by collaborating with some of the world’s largest financial institutions, notably Swift, DTCC, and ANZ. Chainlink Labs also works with top Web3 teams, including Aave, Compound, GMX, Maker, and Synthetix. Chainlink Labs was ranked as one of the Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces by Newsweek 2025.

Chainlink powers the world’s most secure and reliable decentralized infrastructure and at the heart of it all are our Node Operators (NOPs). As the Product Manager for Node Operator Infrastructure, you’ll own the technical backbone that enables these operators to run at scale. Your mission: design the systems, tooling, and architecture that make it possible for Chainlink’s operator ecosystem to serve the growing demand of both crypto-natives and global financial markets, without compromising on security, decentralization, or reliability.

This role sits at the intersection of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and blockchain operations. You’ll partner closely with world-class engineering teams to build resilient deployment pipelines, seamless configuration management, and automated scaling solutions that keep the Chainlink network performant under ever-increasing demand.
Your Impact

  • Own the Node Operator infrastructure roadmap, setting the vision and driving execution.

  • Partner with engineering to design and deliver cutting-edge infra tooling

  • Shape the long-term scaling strategy for NOPs as usage of Chainlink grows across new products, chains and markets.

  • Influence core infrastructure and architecture decisions that define how the network evolves.

  • Drive innovation in operator workflows, enabling faster, safer, and more efficient deployments.

  • Align cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, economics, product, NOP relations, ELT) around infra priorities to ensure coherent execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in infrastructure, platform, or distributed systems, with a track record of driving technical roadmaps from strategy to execution.

  • Strong technical understanding of large-scale infrastructure systems (distributed systems, cloud infra, networking, or node operations), with the ability to engage engineering teams on architecture and design trade-offs.

  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure tooling such as Kubernetes, containerization, auto-scaling, CI/CD pipelines, or monitoring/observability systems.

  • Demonstrated success building scalable platforms or infra products that support external operators, contributors, or customers.

  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear product strategy and priorities.

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects that span engineering, product, and operations teams.

  • Strategic foresight to anticipate future scaling challenges and design solutions that balance decentralization, reliability, and performance.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of infrastructure systems and distributed architectures, ideally with hands-on experience in validators, node operations, or blockchain middleware.

  • Proven experience working on platform or infra products that required scaling across large complex environments (multi-cloud, multi-region, or multi-chain)

  • Strong familiarity with auto-scaling solutions such as Kubernetes.

  • Prior background in DevOps, SRE, or distributed systems engineering.

  • Experience building infra in mission-critical environments (finance, large-scale distributed systems, or blockchain middleware).

  • Knowledge of blockchain ecosystems, ideally Chainlink itself.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
