 The Product Manager – Insurance Platforms role at Corix, a Hiscox Company, is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of platform features, enhancements, and integrations that power the end-to-end insurance lifecycle. This role focuses on improving the systems and tools used to manage and sell insurance policies, ensuring seamless support for underwriting, policy servicing, billing, renewals, endorsements, and claims. 

Core responsibilities include partnering with Insurance, Operations, Administrators, and Underwriting teams to drive roadmap priorities, enhance platform usability, and deliver scalable, efficient workflows. This role will define requirements, coordinate with design and engineering, and ensure integrations with platforms and internal systems align with business needs and regulatory requirements. 

This position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency and speed-to-market through a modern, cohesive insurance platform. By leading feature development, managing integrations, and optimizing workflows, the Product Manager – Insurance Platforms directly impacts user adoption, delivery reliability, and the ability to support profitable growth across brokers, underwriters, and administrators. 

The Team:

Corix is a start-up within Hiscox that builds innovative insurance technology products and platforms that streamline underwriting and policy servicing, unlock actionable insights, and elevate the digital experience for our brokers and customers. Corix operates as an independent, product-led company while progressively integrating into Hiscox to help transform its business model to be more technology-forward and customer-centric. We leverage agile, outcome-based delivery with cross-functional teams aligned to key business capabilities and shared architectural standards.

As we scale within the Hiscox group, we are focused on modernizing core systems and workflows, expanding our suite of digital insurance products, and continuously adapting to evolving market, regulatory, and technology trends to drive sustainable, profitable growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the insurance platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities, carrier requirements, and operational needs. 

  • Manage the full software development lifecycle for platform features and enhancements across underwriting, policy servicing, billing, renewals, endorsements, and claims. 

  • Collaborate with Insurance, Operations, Administrators, and Underwriting to define and refine requirements that improve platform usability, efficiency, and scalability. 

  • Partner with design and engineering teams to translate business and user needs into high-quality product capabilities, UI/UX, and workflows. 

  • Coordinate with carrier platform vendors (e.g., policy administration system) to implement and support product and platform changes, including configuration, testing, and rollout. 

  • Support integration of the carrier platform into the broader Corix and Hiscox ecosystem, ensuring data consistency, operational alignment, and a seamless user experience. 

  • Lead change management efforts with internal stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of new features, including contributing to training materials, process updates, and go-to-market communications. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  •  3–7 years of proven experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS company. 

  • Strong track record of managing internal and external relationships and leading change management initiatives. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business requirements into scalable product solutions. 

  • Strong project management skills with experience driving projects through completion. 

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business, operations, and engineering teams. 

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholder demands simultaneously. 

  • Nice to have: Familiarity with insurance and/or underwriting systems.

Salary range $135,000 - $170,000

The actual salary for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
