Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. We work with some of your favorite disruptor brands—like Calm, Vuori, Rocket Money, and hundreds more—to grow their business using linear and streaming TV ads. Our platform combines sophisticated media buying with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience. Our technology and services are pushing the industry forward, enabling businesses of any size to advertise on TV.

Named one of the 16 Hottest Ad Tech Companies by Business Insider and Best Places to Work by Inc. Magazine, Tatari is experiencing rapid growth. Our executive team is comprised of former founders and senior leaders at fast-rising startups like Shazam, TrueCar, AdapTV, and LiveRail and larger, more established tech companies like Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Yahoo.

Measurement is at the heart of Tatari’s business, and we are continually innovating new ways to provide customers with clear, actionable insights—not just on what happened, but why, and what they should do next

In this role, you will define the roadmap for Insights on the Tatari platform, developing features that help advertisers take action based on how their campaigns performed. Your mission is to understand the levers in TV campaigns and transform performance data into meaningful recommendations, helping marketers determine, for example, whether to increase spend, adjust creatives, refine audience targeting, or optimize their channel spend.

Success in this role will require a deep understanding of TV advertising dynamics, from linear and streaming measurement to attribution and audience engagement. You’ll work closely with data science, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure our insights drive smarter, faster decision-making for marketers. The ability to prioritize engineering efforts based on customer needs, industry trends, and business impact will be critical to delivering innovative products that give Tatari’s clients a competitive edge.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand our customers and their requirements. Synthesize compelling product features for delivering Insights to marketers across streaming direct, programmatic, and linear TV.
  • Execute on product strategy and deliver outcomes within set timelines
  • Gather customer feedback through interviews, surveys, and analytics to ensure the product aligns with how TV marketers look at campaign performance and adjust their campaigns.
  • Work with related engineering teams to translate requirements into product roadmap features
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders within the company: engineering, media buying, data science, sales, marketing and client management. Partner closely with Campaign Manager and Campaign Execution product managers to develop a plan for how to seamlessly put insights into action, without disrupting the Campaign Manager and Campaign Execution roadmaps.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry and our competition, and position Tatari’s products accordingly.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant product management experience in direct, programmatic or digital advertising.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with excellent people skills to interact with various teams inside the company, clients, and vendors, including a demonstrable ability to present a case for your roadmap and initiatives to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action.
  • Customer-needs obsessed, strong user story and solution creation, passionate about solving customer problems.
  • Experience and strength in partnering closely with Design to address complex problems and varying customer needs through effective user research and product design
  • Experience working in a high-ambiguity environment; Demonstrated success developing high-leverage features that delight customers, are hard to copy, and grow the business
  • A passion for delivering features that leverage data, analytics, and even ML/GenAI to elegantly solve customer problems. Strong analytics sense with the ability to extract meaningful signals from large amounts of data. Experience building and telling stories through data visualization is a plus
  • It’s a huge plus if you have any of: customer-facing data & analytics products; Adtech and strong programmatic / DSP background; an understanding of advertising media operations; zero-to-one experience building innovative products from scratch; helped a past company evolve home-grown legacy systems into more modern and effective infrastructures.

Benefits

  • Total compensation ($100,000-150,000/Annually)
  • Equity compensation
  • Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents
  • Unlimited PTO and sick days
  • Snacks, drinks, and catered lunches at the office
  • Team building events
  • $1,000 annual continued education benefit
  • $500 WFH reimbursement
  • Monthly lifestyle spending reimbursements
  • FSA and commuter benefits
  • Monthly Company Wellness Day Off
  • Hybrid RTO of 2 days per week. THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION

At Tatari, we believe in the importance of cultivating teams with diverse backgrounds and offering equal opportunities to all. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and diversity is celebrated.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
