JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations, and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise, and strategic thinking.

AdRise is FOX's core ad tech platform, built to unify streaming and linear advertising across Tubi, FOX Sports, FOX News Media, and FOX Entertainment. Before AVOD became an industry standard, AdRise helped power Tubi's growth from the ground up by developing real-time ad delivery and dynamic targeting infrastructure that scaled to serve millions. That same tech foundation is now fueling FOX's cross-portfolio monetization strategy.

We are rebuilding the ad stack for video by optimizing server-side delivery, building ML-driven targeting systems, and enabling content-personalized ad experiences that respond to what viewers actually watch. From real-time decisioning to data collaboration with AWS and Snowflake, we are creating a smarter, more dynamic ad tech ecosystem. The problems are complex, the visibility is high, and the platform is built for impact. If you want to work at the center of streaming monetization on systems that touch billions of impressions and shape the next generation of personalized advertising, this is your platform.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Product Manager II to help evolve AdRise’s ad platform capabilities across integrations, ad-serving systems, and monetization workflows. This role will focus on building and scaling horizontal capabilities that improve how we connect with publishers, SSPs/exchanges, and DSPs, while optimizing revenue outcomes across the ecosystem.

You will operate at the intersection of business, engineering, and external partners, translating industry protocols and partner requirements into scalable product solutions. This is a highly cross-functional role with direct exposure to revenue-driving systems, external stakeholders, and the core infrastructure that connects supply and demand across the ad tech ecosystem.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own execution of a product roadmap focused on ad platform capabilities, including integrations, delivery logic, and monetization features
  • Partner directly with publishers, SSPs/exchanges, and DSPs to define integration requirements and translate them into clear product and engineering deliverables
  • Drive improvements in ad serving performance, including pacing, frequency capping, targeting, and delivery optimization
  • Collaborate with engineering to build scalable solutions aligned with industry standards such as OpenRTB, VAST, and VMAP
  • Work closely with Ad Ops, Sales, Data Science, and external partners to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of platform capabilities
  • Define success metrics, such as fill rate, yield, and CPMs, and analyze performance to identify optimization opportunities
  • Propose and support experiments to improve monetization outcomes and platform efficiency
  • Bring structure to evolving or ambiguous problem spaces, helping prioritize and sequence work across multiple stakeholders
  • Navigate internal and external stakeholder needs, aligning competing priorities to move initiatives forward
  • Use data to inform decisions and continuously improve monetization performance and platform efficiency

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or video/CTV ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, ad exchanges, and programmatic workflows
  • Familiarity with industry protocols such as OpenRTB, VAST, and VMAP, and experience working on or supporting integrations across these standards
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into shipped products
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional execution and deliver against roadmap goals in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to define metrics, interpret data, and drive decisions that impact revenue outcomes
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to query and analyze datasets such as joins and aggregations
  • Comfort operating at a technical depth required to understand system interactions, data flows, and implementation details
  • Ability to balance execution with informed product judgment, contributing ideas that improve the roadmap while delivering on defined priorities
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problem spaces and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience working on ad serving systems or monetization platforms, including concepts like pacing, frequency capping, targeting, and delivery optimization
  • Exposure to order or campaign management systems, forecasting, or reporting workflows
  • Experience supporting or leading publisher or demand-side integrations
  • Familiarity with advanced SQL concepts
  • Experience operating in environments with evolving requirements and external dependencies

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
