Position Summary: 

The primary responsibilities of the Product Manager II will be to make it easy for developers across all of our customer segments to understand, use, debug, and get help with our broad suite of shipping APIs, as well as increase developer productivity within our carrier engineering org. Through your analysis, developer interviews, and internal feedback, the Product Manager II will drive a product roadmap that will delight our customer’s developers and scale our carrier platform. The role will work across many teams, from Engineering to Customer Support to Business Development, and will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on our developer community and our business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
o Build, evangelize, and execute a shared vision & strategy for internal and external developer experiences.
o Perform market assessments to keep abreast of the latest in the industry in order to benchmark and identify gaps.
o Understand internal and external developer personas, discover user needs and pain points, and translate into detailed and actionable product requirements.
o Drive product development with multiple teams of world-class engineers, designers, and program managers.
o Identify cross-ownership with partner teams and drive cross-org product efforts
o Define and analyze metrics to measure progress towards success.

Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s Degree
o 3+ years of related experience, master’s degree and 1+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience.
o Experience defining vision and strategy for a technical product.
o Experience going through a full product cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements and driving prioritization.
o 3+ years of experience as a software developer or having developers as customers.
o Experience working with APIs, SDKs, developer experience, and white label experiences.
o A strong understanding of the developer community and a love of developer products and tools.
o Experience driving impact through cross-functional leadership.
o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
