Why Socure?

Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.

We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.

About the Role

The Senior Product Manager (Reusable Identity Wallets) will drive the vision, roadmap, and execution for Socure’s reusable identity wallet platform. This product enables individuals to securely store verifiable credentials and share verified attributes across relying parties, unlocking a fast, privacy-preserving, and trusted identity experience across industries.

This role requires a technical product manager with a deep understanding of digital identity systems including verifiable credentials, decentralized identifiers, cryptographic proofs, trust registries, and wallet architecture. You will work closely with engineering and design to build a secure, intuitive wallet experience and partner with customers and ecosystem players to grow adoption across the market.

You will also shape how the wallet integrates with Socure Identity Graph, Document Verification, Digital Intelligence, and future reusable identity initiatives, ensuring interoperability with industry standards and emerging digital ID programs globally.

What You'll DoProduct Strategy and Roadmap Execution
  • Lead the product roadmap for Socure’s reusable identity wallet, aligning with company strategy, customer needs, and evolving ecosystem standards.

  • Drive cross-platform wallet experiences including mobile, web, and SDK-based integrations.

  • Define credential schemas and attribute models to support high-value use cases such as age verification, KYC tokens, employment credentials, and device-bound trust signals.

Identity Standards and Architecture
  • Work with engineering to design core wallet capabilities including key management, credential storage, issuance flows, and presentation protocols.

  • Ensure product alignment with VC Data Model and other relevant standards.

  • Support design of trust registries, revocation mechanisms, governance models, and interoperability layers.

Issuance and Verification Experience
  • Build seamless verification flows for relying parties through SDKs, APIs, QR codes, deep links, and cross-device UX patterns.

  • Ensure strong privacy controls including selective disclosure, data minimization, and clear consent interfaces.

User and Developer Experience
  • Collaborate with design and SDK engineering to deliver a polished and intuitive wallet experience.

  • Work with developer relations to produce clear documentation, sample integrations, and onboarding guides that simplify verifier adoption.

  • Champion accessibility, reliability, and scalability across all surfaces of the wallet.

Cross-Functional and Customer Collaboration
  • Engage with customers across fintech, gaming, gig economy, and government to understand use cases and gather deep feedback.

  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to support go-to-market strategy, demos, launches, and industry education.

  • Contribute to RFPs, regulatory discussions, and certification programs for digital ID initiatives.

Analytics and Insights
  • Use SQL or analytic tools to track usage patterns, credential adoption, verification success rates, and ecosystem performance.

  • Align product direction with data-driven insights and market opportunities.

Industry and Ecosystem Leadership
  • Stay ahead of trends in digital wallets, decentralized identity, verifiable credentials, blockchain-based trust systems, and global digital ID programs.

  • Develop a point of view on wallet privacy, governance, security, and interoperability to guide Socure’s long-term strategy.

  • Represent Socure in relevant standards bodies, working groups, and partner discussions as needed.

QualificationsExperience and Domain Knowledge
  • 4–6 years in product management or a related technical role within digital identity, authentication, cryptography, or wallet/credential systems.

  • Solid understanding of verifiable credentials, decentralized identifiers, trust frameworks, and issuer-holder-verifier ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with wallet architectures, key management strategies, secure enclaves, and recovery mechanisms.

  • Experience with SDKs, API-driven integrations, and developer tooling.

Technical and Analytical Skills
  • Working knowledge of security protocols, cryptographic signatures, and identity standards (W3C VC, OID4VC, DID, passkeys).

  • Understanding of distributed systems or blockchain-based registries is a plus.

  • Comfort with SQL or a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, etc.).

Product and Collaboration Skills
  • Strong UX and DX orientation with the ability to simplify complex technologies.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, sales, and customers.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Mindset and Values
  • Customer-first thinking with a focus on trust, privacy, and user control.

  • Commitment to inclusive and accessible identity experiences.

  • Curiosity and drive to shape the future of reusable identity.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
