The Go-to-Market (GTM) Technology team empowers Toast’s Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams by building scalable, data-driven systems and tools that enable teams to engage customers effectively and drive business growth.

As a Product Manager of GTM Technology, you will lead initiatives that enhance and evolve Toast’s GTM systems ecosystem — including Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and other key enablement technologies. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure our GTM teams have the tools and insights needed to operate efficiently, make data-informed decisions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This is a new and impactful role designed to drive operational excellence and enable scale as Toast continues to grow rapidly. You’ll help define and execute the roadmap that powers how we attract, engage, and retain customers across the entire GTM funnel.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Partner with the Director of Product Management to develop a product vision and roadmap for GTM technology initiatives that align with Toast’s overall growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to understand business needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • Own GTM systems products and workflows, including defining product specifications, prioritizing enhancements, and tracking key performance metrics.
  • Lead discovery to identify pain points across internal GTM teams, and translate those into scalable technology and process improvements.
  • Drive execution on key system improvements — from CRM and lead management workflows to integrations with marketing and success platforms.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to ensure Toast’s GTM systems align with best-in-class tools and processes.
  • Partner with Engineering, Business Systems, and Data teams to ensure robust and sustainable implementations of GTM tools and data architecture.
  • Communicate progress, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and transparency.

  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and define priorities that align with strategic company objectives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of partnering effectively across multiple business functions.
  • Experience turning complex business challenges into clear product requirements and actionable roadmaps.
  • Strength in balancing immediate operational needs with long-term system scalability and automation opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional decision-making and drive measurable impact on GTM efficiency and customer engagement.

Bonus ingredients (a pinch of salt):

  • Prior product experience working with Sales, Marketing, or GTM technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight, or similar).
  • Experience working within a Revenue Operations or Sales Enablement function prior to transitioning into product management.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).

Pay Range
$107,000$171,000 USD
