About Us:

We're on a mission to make it possible for every person, team, and company to be able to tailor their software to solve any problem and take on any challenge. Computers may be our most powerful tools, but most of us can't build or modify the software we use on them every day. At Notion, we want to change this with focus, design, and craft.

We've been working on this together since 2016, and have customers like OpenAI, Toyota, Figma, Ramp, and thousands more on this journey with us. Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse and creative as the millions of people Notion reaches worldwide.

Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

This is a unique opportunity to join Notion’s Growth team, a lean team of proven high-impact experts that are shaping the business’s future trajectory across the distribution, activation & conversion of customers.

What you’ll achieve

  • Set the vision, strategy and roadmap in key areas of Notion’s growth flywheel. Help make resourcing and prioritization tradeoffs in service of our customers’ and our company’s goals
  • Learn from our customers to understand their needs and pain points. Ship a steady cadence of product improvements and features.
  • Tackle a diverse set of projects, from end-to-end experimentation to larger foundational changes with velocity and quality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teammates across design, engineering, data science, research, customer experience and product marketing to define, and execute on, a vision for scaling consumer-facing products at Notion
  • Driving meaningful impact on a team that directly contributes results to the top-line of a generational company

Skills You'll Need to Bring

  • You have a strong track record of delivering impactful product launches and improvements. You ideally have 4-8 years of relevant work experience: growth product management with potentially some adjacent experience in a data-centric role (data science, strategy and operations, etc)
  • You are data-driven, leaning heavily on both qualitative and quantitive data to inform product prioritization and decision making. You care about the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
  • You bring clarity wherever you go from user-facing products to cross-functional teams to executive audiences
  • You’re a team player with a growth mindset, who wants to deliver the best work of their career.

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you’re a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you.

The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
