Bosch eBike Systems, the current market leader for pedal-assist electric bike (eBike) drivetrain components in Europe, is growing quickly in North America as more bicycle brands sell eBikes “epowered by Bosch”.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team. You will be an expert voice and advocate for North American product needs, working closely with our global product teams. You will be responsible for ensuring a clear and aligned regional product strategy and roadmap. This role requires technical expertise, a strategic mindset, cross-functional collaboration and the ability to dive deep into the eBike market to identify opportunities.

Job Description

  • Product Strategy: Collaborate with global product teams to develop and execute product strategies that align with company goals and market demands. Define and align on product vision, roadmap, 3rd-party partnerships and growth opportunities.
  • Product Development: Work with global product and development teams to create and launch future eBike-related products and services. Ensure North American user and customer needs well represented.
  • Customer-Focused Market Research: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve products. Work closely with sales, service and marketing teams to understand customer needs and preferences. Conduct market original research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product strategy and development.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements                    

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in consumer electronics, cycling, outdoor or fitness industries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background, ability to understand complex products and collaborate with engineering and development teams.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for excellent products.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $ 120,000  - $ 135,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.

In addition to your base salary, Bosch offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision plans; health savings accounts (HSA); flexible spending accounts; 401(K) retirement plan with an attractive employer match; wellness programs; life insurance; long term disability insurance; paid time off; parental leave. Pay ranges included in the postings, when included, generally reflect base salary; certain positions may include bonus, or additional benefits.
