At Tilt, we see a side of people that traditional lenders miss. Our mobile-first products and machine learning-powered credit models look beyond credit scores, using over 250 real-time financial signals to recognize real potential. With millions of customers worldwide, we're not just changing how people access financial products — we're creating a new credit system that backs the working, whatever they're working toward.

The opportunity: Product Manager, Credit Card Growth

We’re looking for a Product Manager to take on the credit card acquisition space, where you will own and scale one of the company's highest-growth areas. You'll step into a near clean-slate opportunity, with a deep backlog of tests, user experiences, and analyses to prioritize and drive from day one. You’ll work directly with Engineering, Design, Credit, Marketing, Compliance, and Customer Support to ship new experiences that strengthen our acquisition funnel, with a clear path to becoming the subject-matter expert on the card growth domain as it becomes a cornerstone of Tilt's business. Beyond growth, you'll have the chance to flex into broader credit card product priorities, keeping the work varied and your impact felt across the business.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Own the funnel: Drive the growth card funnel end-to-end, becoming the go-to expert on its performance, levers, and opportunities as it scales toward Tilt's next phase of growth.

  • Follow the data: Use data and analysis to identify where to invest — from funnel optimization to new product features to SEO/AEO — surface the problems users are actually facing, and read results over time to see what's working.

  • Champion experimentation: Own an ambitious testing agenda — designing, executing, and monitoring experiments that meaningfully move the needle on acquisition.

  • Drive execution: Embed with engineering and design to move fast from idea to shipped feature, owning results at every step.

  • Collaborate on new frontiers: Partner with credit and marketing to launch new acquisition channels, differentiated product terms, underwriting policies, and innovative end-to-end user experiences.

  • Expand your reach: Take on high-priority initiatives across the Card business beyond growth — from customer management to other emerging priorities — broadening your impact as the Tilt user’s needs evolve.

Why you’re a great fit
  • We are looking for product managers and product leaders with 3-4+ years product management or management consulting/investment banking, with a preference for experience in technology start ups and/or financial services companies)

  • Bachelor’s degree (or greater) in an analytical or technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Economics)

  • Strong analytical abilities and are comfortable defining and measuring goals consistently, must know SQL, with a preference for experience with Python and/or analytical tools such as Amplitude and Tableau

  • Strong customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs

  • A get-it-done mindset; you’re resourceful and happy to be hands on and in the weeds

  • An interest in addressing complicated and impactful product & business problems

  • Experience delivering complex, cross-functional product initiatives

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities

  • Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined direction

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Don’t meet every qualification? We care about potential over your past. If you're bringing ambition and drive to what we're building, we want to hear from you.

What you'll get at Tilt
  • Virtual-first teamwork: The Tilt team is collaborating across 14 countries, 12 time zones, and counting. You’ll get started with a WFH office reimbursement.

  • Competitive pay: We're big on potential, and it's reflected in our competitive compensation packages and generous equity.

  • Complete support: Find flexible health plans at every premium level, and substantial subsidies that stand up to global standards.

  • Visibility is yours: You can count on direct exposure to our leadership team — we’re a team where good ideas travel quickly.

  • Paid global onsites: Magic happens IRL: we gather twice yearly to reconnect over shared meals or kayaking adventures. (We’ve visited Vail, San Diego, and Mexico City, to name a few.)

  • Impact is recognized: Growth opportunities follow your contributions, not rigid promotion timelines.

We foster an environment where every voice is valued and mutual respect is non-negotiable — brilliant jerks need not apply. We're in this together, working to expand access to fair credit and prove that people are incredible. When you join us, it's not just another day at the [virtual] office, you're helping millions of hardworking people reach better financial futures.

You’re pushing ahead in your career? We can get behind that. Join us in building the credit system that people deserve.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
