As a Product Manager at Kira Learning, you will define and enhance product usability, engage users, and collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced education tech environment.
About Kira Learning
We live in a world where technology is rapidly changing the educational experiences of students and teachers everywhere, and we have the opportunity to shape how this change takes place. It is Kira Learning’s mission to harness transformative AI technologies to make world-class teaching and learning accessible to everyone.
Kira is a rapidly growing startup backed by top-tier Venture Capital funds including New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Andrew Ng’s AI Fund.
About this role
We’re looking for a sharp, fast-moving Product Manager to join the Kira team and lead the evolution of our core platform experience. This is a high-impact role at a high-growth, mission-driven company reshaping the $32B education LMS space with AI-powered tools for teachers and learners.
You’ll work on foundational product experiences that define how users interact with Kira - from onboarding to daily workflows - shipping intuitive, high-leverage features that drive engagement and long-term value. We're looking for someone who has shipped a lot of product, ideally at a B2C or prosumer company, and thrives in a fast-paced, iterative environment. You should bring strong product sense, a bias for action, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build products that people love to use.
Experience with growth or community-oriented features is a strong plus, though your primary focus will be on building a seamless, scalable, and joyful core user experience.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Define and deliver product improvements that enhance usability, engagement, and value across the user journey
- Partner closely with design and engineering to ship clean, high-quality experiences quickly and iteratively
- Conduct user research and synthesize insights to deeply understand user needs and pain points
- Use data and user feedback to prioritize features and validate product decisions
- Collaborate with GTM and customer success teams to ensure product features support user success and retention
- Help lay the foundation for scalable platform patterns, frameworks, and systems
- Bring structure and focus to ambiguous problem areas while moving fast
Experiences & Skills
- 4-6 years of product management experience, with a strong track record shipping features at a fast-paced B2C, prosumer, or SaaS company
- Strong product intuition and UX sensibility - you know what good looks like and how to get there
- Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality, balancing iteration speed with thoughtful product decisions
- Experience working across the full product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch to iteration
- Skilled communicator who can align stakeholders and drive clarity across teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to independently drive high-leverage initiatives
- Bonus: Experience with product-led growth, onboarding flows, or community-driven features
Background Check: Kira Learning will make a conditional job offer in line with local, state and federal laws, and a subsequent criminal, education, and employment history background check will then be issued.
