About the Role:
FAM Brands is seeking a senior-level Product Manager to join our high-volume Club Division, which services major retail partners like Costco and Sam’s Club through licensed apparel programs with brands including GAP, Banana Republic, Orvis, Woolrich, and Express. This is a highly tactical, execution-focused role that owns the product lifecycle from concept handoff through final delivery—overseeing development, sourcing, costing, approvals, and production across multiple programs and product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Ownership: Manage all aspects of product execution from development to delivery, ensuring timeline, margin, and quality expectations are met for each licensed brand program
Vendor & Sourcing Management: Liaise with overseas factories to confirm development feasibility, negotiate costs, secure raw materials, and manage bulk production allocation
Costing & Margin Accountability: Own and maintain cost sheets, analyze component pricing, and implement cost engineering strategies to meet gross margin targets without sacrificing quality
Calendar Management: Build, update, and drive the Time & Action (T&A) calendar to ensure all key dates are met, including sample submissions, lab dips, bulk approvals, and production starts
Sample Development & Approvals: Oversee all proto, SMS, PPS, fit, and TOP sample stages; ensure accurate execution of design intent, brand aesthetic, and technical specs
Compliance & Licensing Standards: Ensure all products adhere to each brand’s licensing requirements, including testing, labeling, packaging, and vendor onboarding protocols
Cross-Functional Execution: Act as the hub between Design, Tech Design, Merchandising, Sales, Compliance, and Logistics to drive alignment and resolve any roadblocks
PLM System Management: Maintain up-to-date records in Centric PLM, including BOMs, style details, vendor data, and all sample/approval tracking
Skills & Qualifications:
5–8 years of experience in apparel product management or production, specifically for licensed apparel programs
Experience working with high-volume retailers such as Costco, Sam’s Club, BJ’s, or similar is required
Strong understanding of sourcing, product development, costing, and overseas manufacturing for cut-and-sew knits and wovens
Direct experience navigating brand licensing standards, including lab testing, packaging, and approvals
Proficient in Centric PLM, Excel, and cost tracking tools
Excellent follow-through and time management with a high level of attention to detail
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across factories and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple programs and product categories simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Location Notice:
This is a full-time, onsite role based at our current headquarters in Bell, CA. In Q1 of 2026, the corporate office will relocate to Beverly Hills, CA (90210). Candidates must be comfortable working onsite at both locations.
