Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for WorkSolo's overseas markets, aligning HQ vision with local creator needs
- Define product North Star metrics and success criteria (activation, retention, creation depth, publish-through rate, monetization)
- Translate market insights, competitive intelligence, and creator behavior trends into prioritized product bets
AI-Native Feature Design
- Lead end-to-end product design for AI creation workflows — covering ideation, generation, editing, collaboration, and publishing
- Define and ship features around multimodal generation (text-to-image, text-to-video, voice, 3D), agentic workflows, asset management, and creator monetization
- Partner with AI/ML, design, and engineering teams to ship high-quality experiences at startup speed
User Research & Market Insight
- Build a continuous discovery system: creator interviews, usability studies, community listening, and quantitative analysis
- Synthesize insights from Discord, Reddit, X/Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok creator ecosystems into product requirements
- Develop deep personas for AI creators (independents, studios, professional creatives) and map their end-to-end workflows
Localization & Market Fit
- Drive product localization strategy across language, payment, content policy, and creator economics for key markets (North America, EU, JP/KR, SEA, LATAM)
- Define market-specific feature variants, onboarding flows, and pricing/packaging in collaboration with operations and growth
- Champion the international user's voice within HQ; influence the global product roadmap with regional priorities
Data & Experimentation
- Build a rigorous experimentation culture: hypothesis → A/B test → learning loops
- Define instrumentation requirements and partner with data teams on dashboards, funnels, and cohort analysis
- Use analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, etc.) to monitor product health and identify growth levers
AIGC Ecosystem & Partnerships
- Stay at the forefront of the global AI creator tools ecosystem (workflows, toolchains, emerging models, and creator behavior trends)
- Identify integration and partnership opportunities with model providers, distribution platforms, and creator ecosystems
- Represent WorkSolo at industry events, creator conferences, and AIGC community gatherings
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead cross-functional squads of engineers, designers, researchers, and data scientists across HQ (China) and LA
- Own clear written PRDs, specs, and trade-off rationales; drive alignment across time zones
- Collaborate closely with overseas operations, marketing, and BD to ensure go-to-market readiness
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of product management experience, ideally within creator tools, AIGC platforms, content/media, or developer-facing creative products
- Proven track record shipping consumer or prosumer products at scale in international markets
- Deep familiarity with the global AI creator tools landscape — including generation tools (Midjourney, Runway, Pika, Kling, Sora), creation workflow tools (Notion AI, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, CapCut), and creator platform ecosystems (YouTube Studio, TikTok Creator Marketplace, Patreon, Substack)
- Hands-on experience designing AI-native features (prompting UX, multimodal generation, agentic workflows, model orchestration) is strongly preferred
- Strong data literacy; comfortable defining metrics, designing experiments, and using analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, SQL)
- Experience operating across Western social platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Discord, Reddit, X) and understanding how AI creators discover, adopt, and evangelize creation tools
- Excellent written and verbal English communication; Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus for HQ collaboration
- Self-starter with startup mentality; comfortable operating with ambiguity, time-zone span, and the speed of an early-stage international expansion
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Design, HCI, Media, or a related field; equivalent practical experience welcome
- Prior experience launching products from 0 → 1 in overseas markets
- Personal creator background or active participation in AIGC creator communities

- Experience working across China–US dual-HQ structures
